Rich, red and nicely seasoned. Mild, so plan on adding your own chili spice if you like it hot.

This is a great enchilada sauce. It's main ingredient are red chilies, not tomatoes as most other sauces. Even though it's made with red chilies, it is not hot, it is mild. If you want more heat, add some ground cayenne.I also like the size of the container at 12oz vs the can at 10oz. 10oz was never enough sauce and I always had to open a second can, and end up tossing some out.

I will be ordering more. The taste is great. Nice mild flavor. It makes everything taste better. It's so much easier opening this package compared to jars or cans. Takes up very little room in fridge.

Enchilada sauce is supposed to be made from chilis. Most grocery store enchilada sauces are spiced tomato sauce. It’s not as good as home made….but probably the best premade sauce. It’s great for quick week night dinners and for copy-cat Taco Bell Encheritos.

I'm from New mexico, I love my green chilies! This stuff is so good, I can swig it right out of the package. Lol. It goes on everything from breakfast burritos all the way to chicken vegetable and rice casserole with green chili enchilada sauce and cheese on it. So yummy! I'll definitely be buying more! 💖💖

We use it mainly on tamales. Has a good flavor and the pouches make it super convenient and easy to store.

Small package goes a long way! Eggs, rice, salads, which ever you prefer.
