Fossil Women's Fiona Leather Satchel Purse Handbag

Beautiful and functional bag!Yes! Fossil brought back a satchel version with zippers that go all the way down the sides. This Fiona satchel, pictured in the brown, is a great travel bag. It's neither too large or too small and can easily fit a water bottle, small umbrella, camera, iPad mini, and the like.The blue bag in the pictures is the Sydney satchel which has been discontinued. No other Fossil satchel other than these two have zippers that go all the way down the sides which makes it easier to get stuff in and out of the bag.Here are some differences between the two if you're a Sydney owner and thinking about getting this bag.Both bags have a back slip pocket which great as a quick access to items such as a phone or keys. The back pocket on the Fiona (brown) measures approx 6.5x5; Sydney 4x5 because of the placement of the straps. The dimensions of both bags are similar 9.5w x 8.5h x 5.5d. The Sydney (blue) is well-used and has gotten slouchy so that's why it may appear smaller. Both bags are empty in the photos.The Fiona has a small grained leather. I personally prefer the smooth leather of the Sydney, but I think the Fiona with the grained leather will hold its shape better over time. The Fiona has no feet to protect the bottom of the bag. The straps are different with the Fiona being a sliding adjustable strap which can be viewed as a pro since you can adjust to almost any length to suit your height. The top handle straps on the Fiona are more rounded and slight shorter than on the Sydney, but both fit comfortably on the crook of the arm. The Fiona does not have all the card holders or the key holder in its interior like the Sydney does. Both have a zippered pocket on one side and a slip pocket on the other. The external main zippers are different between the two as shown in the photos.Overall, I'm happy that Fossil came back with a satchel like the Fiona. It does have some of the added features the Sydney has. It is $10 less than what the retail price of the Sydney which was $178.I wouldn't say this is an upgrade to the Sydney but a really great version especially since the zippers running all the way down the sides of the bag is back. Hopefully Fossil will release the Fiona in a variety of colors and/or leathers, canvas.I would say if you like satchel, bowling type bags, get the Fiona. The Sydney does sell on many resale sites, but at sometimes 2x the retail price! Hope you find this review and my photos helpful.

I love this style of bags from fossil. Because it looks small and compact on the outside but it’s really big on the inside And has a lot of room for all my things. And the outside pocket on the back is a real bonus to I can put my keys in there. The only downside was the cross body strap that came with it. It is too thin and not long enough for me to Where is comfortably around my neck as a cross body bag. Since I’m in a wheelchair I need a bag with a long strap so I can put the bag on my lap when I go out. But luckily I have another bag from fossil with a long black cross body strap so I just switched the two straps so that I can use this bag in a way that is more comfortable for me.

I love fossil purses and wallets and this one did not disappoint. It's well made, has a simple structure and fits everything I need. And I LOVE the cell phone pocket on the inside. It makes it so easy to find your phone.

This fossil satchel is very beautiful! It’s not too big but not small either. Just the perfect size for your everyday needs. The zippers go all the way down on both sides allowing you to have easy access into the bag, and making it more spacious. I love the color, I love the look, & I loved the price I got here on Amazon. Overall I’m satisfied with this Medium Brown Fossil Satchel. The only BUT here is the support on the shoulder strap. The strap is very thin and although the bag itself is super lightweight, it can get very heavy with the items inside it. I usually carry it with the handles for that reason, sometimes if I really need to, I use the long strap but only for a little .

Purchased in December & it’s held up very well. It’s durable quality. It’s small in size, so if you’re the type to carry everything with you, this isn’t the bag for you. If you’re minimal(wallet, phone, tissue, etc.) this is the perfect size. Strap is adjustable & the color is nice.

It’s a perfect bag. Just the right size and you can put a whole lot of stuff in it. The leather is nice and I have wanted it for such a long time. Glad I bought it. Will use it for a very long time. I just wish there were the little feet on the bottom so the leather doesn’t get dirty.

Absolutely beautiful!!! It’s so incredibly spacious like my Speedy 30 Bandolier. And for a fraction of the price I paid for my Speedy! I highly recommend this bag. I wish the strap was a bit thicker. Otherwise it is a beautiful bag!

I'm not a "purse-person", but my last purse was a black, Coach (outlet) bag and I was wanting something for spring/summer. I ordered this bag and didn't bring it out until the weather finally broke in my part of the country (OH), and I love it. It's been taking me a little time to get re-adjusted to not having two separate zipping parts as well as an open pocket between sections, but it also causes me to only keep thing I'm not going to forget are in my purse, in my purse. Phone, full size wallet, glasses case- definetely room for those, plus a little extra. There's an interior zippered pocket along the back side that's perfect for those important papers and cards that don't need to be in the wallet. There's an interior pocket in the front that I put some pens and Capstick in. The look of this purse can go with anything (except black-tie of course), and you will get compliments. Honestly this bag makes me want to get another purse for another season- maybe I'm becoming a "purse-person"...
