Quick and easy patterns with great results
I've made quilts from 3 of the 8 patterns in this book. The goal is to make all 8 for mission blankets. The 3 yard designation is very generous. So far I've had enough leftover fabric to piece together ~ 1/3 to 1/2 a backing. The photo is a flimsy that took about 2 1/2 hours at the sewing machine after the pieces were cut. Yes! 2 1/2 hours. The reason is these patterns have very few points that meet. One thing not mentioned is the versatility of these patterns. Fussy cutting a fabric for the photo pattern would take it a whole other direction. The one rating I marked not 5 stars is because I really cannot answer. It has been a long time since I was a beginner.
