Light enough to add to productivity
I love this book as I was looking for something lightweight to add against my childs school work for me to have a better understanding of comprehension etc. against where she stands. My child does one passage in the morning before school and it's just enough to not be too much, but enough to get her brain going before school.

Great bellringer material
This workbook includes several different themes for reading passages. I use them for bell ringers & my students actually want to read them. Each passage has 4-5 questions that go with it. The passages and questions have helped my students with basic reading & comprehension skills. Wish I could find more at the high school level-I currently teach 9th grade ELA & this is an 8th grade workbook.

Leveled text! Some below and some more challenging.
A co-worker suggested this to me. I’m planning to scan these into a PDF and have students complete several each week through Google classroom which will grade them for me! I call that a win!

Great for Bell ringers
Excellent for quick daily bell ringers but you must make copies for each student b/c the print is to small to project so students can see the entire passage.

Perfect bell work assignment
I teach a multi grade 5/6. I'm currently using 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade versions of the daily warm ups. It works as a differentiated 'Bell work' assignment when student come to class.
