SaxTrue Flow Heavy Bodied Acrylic Paint - 1/2 Gallon - Set of 6 - Assorted Colors

I love this paint! It is a nice heavy body paint, so I don't have to use as much paint when I mix it with my pouring medium. I will be buying this brand again, as I have tried other heavy body paint in bulk and Sax offers a good high quality paint in large 64 oz bottles. Out of all the paints I checked out, Sax was the very best value for the money.

I got these paints for my at home use and I love them. They can be a little thin but that allows for layer building which is important in painting. I know it’s meant for a school art class but I love these for the affordability and quality!

It’s heavy duty acrylic paint is by far the best paint I have ever bought! It doesn’t work really well for flow art because it has to be mixed down so much but it is a lot cheaper than buying cheaper paints and it is a bargain because it is thick!

Easy to apply. Easy clean up.

I loved the paint, it was thick as stated on the bottle. I looked long and hard for something more liquid, so that is something to add to the collection. The red was a little too pink. True Primary colours are essential for painters. The part about this paint that was the least satisfying is that the bottle of my favourite shade (white) burst and spilled out on the others. I love white, and it is also very essential in painting and I think I would be more satisfied if my white wasn't damaged. Still not sure if it is shipping or the bottle itself.

If you're looking for a heavy body or just a good quality paint that wont break the bank then try sax out, especially if your new to the paint scene . I have found this paint and this brand to be great w all various painting techniques frm fluid painting to basic brush to canvas painting. I will also add that this paint does very well for itself on all types of surfaces. I would even go as far as saying that in my opinion this brand is comparable to Amsterdam. The only difference w Amsterdam paint and the Sax paint is the Amsterdam paint creates cells w just the Amsterdam paint and water. If you're doing fluid painting and your looking to have cells in your work w little effort then yes go w the Amsterdam paints.

Thick, rich color. Blends well with a medium for acrylic pours. A little goes a very long way. I've used it to create some other beautiful colors also. Love this paint.
