Unfortunately my random lot was purple heart and tauroniro, which are basically the same color, and green heart but the green heart was so cracked and warped I couldn't even use it. I wanted to make a fun end-grain cutting board with a fancy pattern, but ended up with just a solid purple one. It still turned out well, and still works great. Just not as striking a pattern as I would have liked.

I have purchased this two times already. Both times all wood was identified, flat, only a couple pieces had cracks. Very usable selection for small projects, Great for making boxes. I got a selection of four or five different types of wood. Wood is mostly thick pieces, 1-2" thick, approximately 12" long. Highly recommend this company compared to the others out there. Will definitely be making more purchases.

I was very happy with the number of species and dimensions, so why 3 stars?I received 3 Purple Heart slabs, 2 had multiple / large cracks making them mostly unusable. I received 3 Wallaba cuts, 1 has a large stress crack making it unusable. I received 1 Green heart - it also had large cracks throughout.So of the 13 boards I received, 4 were unusable due to noticeable structural stress cracks. That leaves 9 good boards - so 32% less wood for the $$.Again, happy with the variety and dimensions, bummed by the structural cracks found in 4 of the 13 total boards sent.

Purchased 3 boxes last month. Great product fast shipping, perfect for my small projects. Purchased 4 more boxes, arrived quickly but shipper had shorted 1 box. Waited 2 days to make sure package might arrive late, but no shipment. Contacted vendor through Amazon email to report missing package and within 45 minutes had a response that a replacement would be shipped that day and a tracking number would be forthcoming. 2 hours later an email with the tracking number arrived. 3 business days after that the replacement box arrived. 5 stars for the product and customer service!!! Doesn't get any better than that!!! Will definitely purchase again!!!! AAAAA+++++

Arrived in timely manner. I've enjoyed learning about the wood. Massaranduba is one of them. Come to find out Purple Heart which I got one board of in the box doesn't stand alone as the heaviest wood I've ever used. Massaranduba I believe matches Purple Heart. I am currently glue up a cutting board made with Massaranduba and what I thought the label said was "Diana" but I think is "Darina". The labels print was smudged during shipping. Just likePurple Heart my tablesaw doesn't like Massaranduba. Currently this site says it out of stock cause I was gonna buy another box.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. I ended up with five different species of wood.One of the woods was not labeled but I believe it is Ipe. The other four are Massaranduba, Greenheart, purpleheart, and Darina. I will definitely be buying a box
