Diversitech 6-2626L Drain Pan, Plastic, 26" x 26", Large

Because of an unfortunate experience, I bought this to go under my 24" wide x 24" deep, 8 cu. ft. upright freezer which is NOT self-defrosting. (The freezer door was inadvertently left open overnight; so that there was a combination of frost formation and thawing, which subsequently damaged the wood floor.) Hopefully, this plastic drain pan will avoid any future defrosting damage. To contain any future leak within the drain pan, the pan's existing drainage hole was plugged with a plastic cap. So that the freezer door could open and close, 2" thick boards had to be installed as a platform inside the pan, in order to elevate the freezer above the pan's lip edge. The assemblage seems to be working out well and is relatively unobtrusive. The true test of functionality will be when it comes time to normally defrost the freezer.

Drain pan arrived defective with a HOLE in the bottom, not once but TWICE! It's supposed to direct water out through the fitting in the side but water would just leak through the bottom onto floor with these pans, making them *useless.* This pan has good reviews so they can't all be defective--I hope. It's the perfect size for my application and the non-defective parts seem to be suitable quality, so once again I've ordered a replacement. First pan looked like hole had been melted with a soldering iron, second looked more like a cigarette burn through a plastic tablecloth. Quality control can't be that difficult. If you see light coming through the bottom, DON'T PUT IT IN THE BOX!!! SMH!

I didn't rate it high for sturdiness but to be fair It was as sturdy as I expected it to be, and as sturdy as I needed it to be. I used it under a stack able washer and dryer in a closet area that was carpeted. The dimension front to back on the machine was very close to the inside dimension of the pan but the pan tapers wider and with the legs of the machine lowered allowed for the machine to sit just right in the pan, ( I wanted a really close fit as I didn't have much room). I also put a piece of plywood under the pan as I felt that the concentrated force of the machine feet would crack an unsupported pan that was sitting on carpet. I also used a razor to trim outside lip that extended further out than I needed, even though the rolled edge does provide for some reinforcement it was still strong enough. I would have preferred the pan to be white to match the machine, I couldn't find one with the right dimension for me. seems to be working OK.

Im a hvac tech and im using the drain pan for something different. Using it for a plastic pan for under the ferrets cage. I have used the brand for alot of other repairs. good brand and good price

Nice for what I needed it for. A little on the flimsy side but does the job. Do wish I would have gotten one with the drain on the bottom since I'm using it as a drain tray under my large Chameleon cage because a lot of water will stand in it before it reaches the drain on the side. My bad. Gonna try to do a little revising, I'm sure it will work well after that. The drain it came with seemed well made and I'm sure it will works well on the side of tray for other uses.

This pan is what I was looking for to place under my floor freezer

As described but on the thin side. I bought a larger one first to install under a commercial ice maker. The dimensions were tight and I couldn't get all four feet in it (not their fault). I went to slide the ice maker and the pan together and I actually busted the ice maker out of the side of the pan. I did buy this one to replace it and it just sits under where the ice maker drips. The fact that it comes with the fitting is nice as well.

I serves its purpose. I was disappointed that it didn't come with a drain cap. I had to order a cap separately.
