BIA Cordon Bleu Assorted Salad/Dessert Plates, Set of 4, Gift Boxed, Fromage

i was changing from aging stoneware plates from Target to some nicer, lighter and more durable restaurant quality porcelain. I picked up some white plates from this same brand which were beautiful but I didn't want to get overwhelmed with white so when I came upon these accent plates, I fell in love. I am enamored with the vintage cheese labels with the beautifully graphics and Art Deco fonts. Now that I have the plates in hand, I am stunned. They are gorgeous. Plus as a bonus they come in a "cheese wheel" round plate box fully decked out with one of the labels. The box is so beautiful it is going on display on my bakers rack. Yes they are packed tight with cardboard in between so if the box is mishandled and dropped it could break some plates. But mine arrived in perfect shape. Amazon would make good if not. No worries.Now Grommit and I are going to enjoy some Camembert and Crackers on our new plates 😁

I don't usually leave reviews but these plates far surpassed my expectations. I was just looking for 3 cute plates to hang on my decorative plate holder on the wall. These arrived today and not only do I want them on the wall, I want to order more as gifts and have some to use as well. They are really nice looking and good quality. I took a photo of them and showed them to a friend and they said they purchased these same plates for a lot more money when they were in the wine country recently. I highly recommend these.

The plates are seconds with poor (weak & fuzzy) printing and colors that are pale and not true to the photos. I have a set of these plates purchased years ago and they do not match the originals. As an example, the blue plate is pale blue in color not deep blue as in my original plate!!!! These are very very poor seconds not first quality.

This is my second set of these plates I have bought. They are attractive and study (no chips on my first group). I bought another set simply so I would have more.They are classified as "salad" plates, but I use them as dinner plates.

This was a great purchase. I got this plate set as a christmas gift for my grandmother, who is an extreme Francophile and invariably provides us with plentiful wedges of Brie and Camembert every time we visit.It was an awesome purchase not only because of the great quality of the plates, but because of the perfection of the purchase as a gift item. They came in the most adorable box that was decorated to look like one of those little wooden Camembert boxes. Highly recommended as a gift! (although I'd really like to have a set for myself as well)

I ordered three sets of these. So far, I have received two sets. They are very nice and gourmet looking. These are a nice size too - about 8 inches in diameter. The plates are good quality too and are brighter than what is pictures on Amazon.

There were 2 broken ...Disappointing.

I was gifted a camembert baker by a friend, and was so pleased I could expand my serving design to include plates that coordinated with the cheese baker! I am so proud when I have a wine and cheese spread for friends! Everything looks so perfect, the food naturally even tastes better!
