Made in China, not the same as original plates that were made in USA
I bought these to add to my mom's collection of Winter Greetings. The original pieces were made in the USA, this 5 inch bowl is form China and does not look the same and looks cheap. I guess that is why they say "American by Design"

This bowl is really not what I expected. It is lovely looking as in the product picture. HOWEVER unlike the fine china in the rest of the line, this bowl is heavy and less refined. It reminds me of a light-weight piece of stoneware. I will keep it, but I won't order another one. It gets three stars because it is beautiful.

Major Disappointment !!!
Major disappointment!!!!. Cover doesn’t fit properly. Obviously this product is a second or third. When you order “Lenox” you should assume the product will be first class. If it isn’t the manufacturer should scrap it rather than send out a sub-grade product
