Anchor Hocking 32 Piece Storage Bowl Set

I have been using Pyrex for food storage for the past three years. I ordered this set since it was on sale for below $30. The sizes of the bowls are very practical. I actually use the 1-cup size a lot more often than I thought. In terms of quality, this set is as good and sturdy as the Pyrex set. You can mix-and-match the lids with the same sized Pyrex bowls. The measuring spoon and spatula are not that imprssive. I gave these to my kids to play with.

I bought this set for a new main kitchen. Left my old set in secondary kitchen. I am very pleased with this set. I do not microwave or cook the plastic lids on the product; I remove the lids before microwaving. The glass has a heavy weight; very study. I have Pyrex set in blue; same thing---I do not put lid in microwave. I have nothing negative to comment about this set. LOVE the red color.

The glass is great. I wish the lids would vent. Terrific for the price

This was an amazing value for the quality. The containers are perfect sizes for leftovers or sending a meal to a sick friend. Lids are soft and pliable, and fit nicely on containers.

I bought a few different sizes of the Anchor Hocking Glass and Plastic Lid sets. Within 2 months, the plastic lids started to crack. They were pretty useless after that since they don't stay on the glassware. I contacted the Anchor company because the box says they have a 5 year warranty on their product. They responded by saying that the 5 year warranty only covers their glass parts. The lids are not made by Anchor since they purchase it from a 3rd party company. Then they recommended I go to their website dedicated to buying additional lids. If a company has to open a website to sell ADDITIONAL LIDS, that cleary indicateds a BIG PROBLEM with their lids. Save your money and don't invest in any Anchor Hocking storage glassware. I bought the Pyrex ones instead and haven't had any problems. Their lids are better quality and more flexible.

Documentation claims lids are dishwasher and microwave safe, however 3 of 4 cracked in a short time. manufacturer claimed they would replace them even though they are not covered by warranty, but I'm still waiting and they have not responded to further emails.
