great replacement
my original which was a bit bigger and heavier (not sure why) it got clown over and cracked the backboard. I got this and was able to save the rest of the basket saving me a ton, it is smaller by a few inches making it lighter and less likely to blow over again. With the supplied hardware I was able to install with no issues and quite easily. I recommend for any portable basketball set up.

Solid Item, Well Built
This backboard sadly did not work for my backboard lift system, but I really wish it had. The polycarbonate is beautifully clear and sparkling, the red lining looks really good and definite, the hoop is high quality, and the frame is all-metal instead of the plastic that dominates replacement backboards and hoop systems these days. Definitely a quality buy! Returning when it didn't work out was easy. I just dropped it off in the original box at the UPS Store nearby.

Capable Adult to Build - they weren’t kidding
First off, looks fantastic, kid loves it… blah blah blah. But good luck putting it together. Even with my several advanced degrees, it took about 4-5 hours and maybe took some years off my life too. IKEA has nothing on this. The directions says, need capable adult and I thought that was funny until I actually had to put it together. I also purchased a bracket for my garage roof…that added to the complicated. I recommend hiring someone if you want to preserve your marriage and sanity.

Basketball backboard
This backboard fits perfectly on our permanent pole. The kids love it especially because we can easily adjust the height

Broke twice in 18 months
Bought this in Feb 2022 and in Dec 2024 my son was shooting free throws and the ball went through the backboard; then I fixed it with scotch tape and cardboard… then my son was shooting again with his buddy and this time the ball went through a different part of backboard … two separate holes… my son is 11 years old.. so he wasn’t shooting hard at all. The plastic got old and brittle… period. It was a good replacement backboard, but not worth the money, we live in lower Virginia and it rarely gets below 40 degrees t effect plastic.

I ordered the open-box item, but the wall mounting hardware was missing.

VERY DISAPPOINTINGIt is advertised as a " wall mount" but it is NOT mountable as it arrives.You need a universal mounting bracket -NOT INCLUDED - THEY DON'T TELL YOU AHEAD OF TIMEour family got together to hang this and found we need additional hardware -KIDS DISAPPOINTEDSHAME ON THEM
