Does a great job of keeping throw rugs in place

This rug pad was exactly the right size and keeps the rug from slipping. I haven't noticed any smell from it either.

I can't say that this matt works super well. It's fine. I mean, I put it under a rug and the rug is definitely harder to move in passing, but it is still movable. It's not great, but it's okay.

Works like a charm. My husband didn’t believe that it would work but he was surprisingly impressed. I bought a large and cut it down for a few of our rugs. We really needed it for our hallway runner 3ft x 18ft. It hasn’t moved at all since I put this under.

It’s been at least a year now and this product continues to secure my wool braided rugs without leaving ANY residue on my new glossy hardwood floors beneath it. I’m so glad I researched various products before purchasing this. Perfect. Easyto trim to match rounded edges.

When I bought my house in May 2016, everyone told me rug pads where so expensive. So naturally I went to amazon to find a deal and this was it! For the price, this is great. My rug does not slip or slid ever. I ordered a larger size than I needed and then cut it down. I then had some leftovers that I used all over my house! Backdoor rug, front door, etc and those have held up great as well. I would definitely purchase again.To speak to some other reviews- I have laminate hardwoods and this has not left any residue at all. It is not super thick and cushy, but I didn't expect that. I have a wool rug and just needed something to hold it to the floor and it does the job. I do have a small dog who will sometimes runs down the stairs and lift part of the rug and pad, but it's never had any issues sticking back to the floor.

Only real rubber grips like this work and don't discolor floors. Hard to find, the ones in HD box stores, etc. are just plastic and useless. I used carpet tape and cut this to fit my braided rug stair treads. They do not move at all! I tried one tread with HD plastic grip; it slid off the step. The trick is to buy ShurTape carpet tape, attach the grip and trim to your rugs.

Works well. Does not seem to leave marks on my wood floors. Grips well. Natural rubber. Good price for large area.

Was a bit skeptical that this would work because it's so thin and flimsy. But it actually works great and provides excellent grip. I use it under an area rug that is on laminate flooring. I have a puppy that gets the zoomies alot and the carpet would go sliding everytime she landed on it. I was always worrying she would hurt herself. This has totally fixed the problem doesn't slide at all now. I've even jumped on it myself to see if it would slid under my weight and it stayed firmly in place. Would definitely buy this again for area rugs.

This is by far the best underpad for area rugs ever ! My dogs do zoomies, & rugs pretty much stay in place.

I purchased this to cut up, to replace cheap non-slip pads under scatter rugs on our wood floors. I was pleased that they worked quite well for a few weeks, but as they get dusty or the wool rug fibres get in them, they work no better than the cheap ones. The solution to non-slip is the same as it was with my old ones: they have to be washed frequently (I put them in laundry bags in the washer) to work well.
