These take a while to break in.
These boots are of really good quality. The waterproofing is great. They are pretty rigid to wear at first. It takes a while for them to break in. The Reinforced toe is a little short on the pinky toe side. The press in the middle of that toe. That took a while to get used to. The heels and ankle support are tight and there isn't a lot of movement so it rubbed for a while, again it took a little while to get used to.They run short, I usually wear a 11.5 size but had to return them and get the 12 to fit the length correctly.Overall I really am happy with these boots.

My husband works in concrete
My husband works in concrete and we have had these boot since September 2016 (Now January 2017) and they're still in one piece. My husband says they are still comfortable, warm, and nothing gets into his boots. We were going through boots every month because of where he works with all of the acid. Carhartt has a loyal customer with these boots. Many of the guys my husband works with have bought this since seeing the wear and tear on them. So honestly there are a happy 20 men working concrete wearing these boots 8-15 hours a day. These boots are more than worth the money.

Waterproof, strong, reliable and tight to your feet.
I honestly think these boots are very strong, like you can feel your feet and ankles secured by the hard materials around them. For me that is good because I work on uneven ground. I once felt in a hole by accident and sprain my ankle a little, but thanks to these boots i didn't break my foot and ankle, because I felt with my ass right on top of my foot dead weight (210 pounds). I felt my foot twisting but the boot prevented my foot from bending to the the breaking point, so I recovered from my injury fairly quick considering the circumstances. I know the boots are not the most comfortable ones, but they keep my feet safe and for me, safety is first. They don't slip on wet floors, good to work in muddy areas, easy to clean. In hot conditions my feet are not overheating and in cold weather they keep my feet warm if temperatures are not less than 28° F. I guess that is usually normal wearing just a pair of sucks. The consIn my opinion, the boots are difficult to putting them on and taking them off. I wish they have a zipper on the side to make it easier, but that is just in my case, you might have no problems with that. Just saying. Also, I noticed I have to wear long sucks or else put my pants inside the sleeve of the boots because otherwise my legs will get scratched and my skin gets sore out, and besides it has a nice smooth material inside, the seems can scratch your legs and that is not good when you work in dusty or dirty or muddy environments. That can lead to an infection on your skin not desired.Overall, I will recommend this boots when it comes to reliability, endurance and waterproofing your feet, also the ergonomics. They look nice and easy to clean and I got them for a fair price. I don't think I would have paid more than that to be exact, but remember, the first time you put them on they will feel like kind of tight a little, but it is just because they are new, once you wear them a couple of times they will losen up and you will be fine. Safety first! 😃 👍

My husband love them.
My husband is a big fan of Carhartt products, and was so excited when I ordered these boots. I personally appreciate the how fast they were delivered. He says they are very comfortable, true to size, and he got multiple compliments.

Good boots but extremely uncomfortable
Good boots, water proof, steel toe, but these things are stiff as a board. Wore them a week expecting some discomfort, but this is beyond uncomfortable. Swapped out insoles for ones made by timberland which helped significantly. Going to try the Ariat energy max insoles too. I know better that to expect comfort from steel toe boots, but they could have tried to make them tolerable. Not returning because I feel like the insoles and time will loosen them up and I wouldn’t take back boots people bought and wore for a week if I were the one selling. Do better, carhartt.

Great product!
I bought these for my husband who works at an excavation company as a laborer and he says that he absolutely loves them! He says they fit perfectly and they get the job done. He says sometimes it feels like his toes get wet but it turns out it's just the water up against the rubber because when he takes his boots off his socks are dry.

I was a mechanic on and off shore for drilling and production rigs. I worked till the repairs were completed. That meant 24 hours if need be a couple nights a week when oil was good. These boots held up to all kinds of abuse, salt, chemicals, diesel, oil... I will not wear anything else when working. These days I work as a Locomotive Mechanic and to me are way over built but I still wear them because I know the boot is tough enough for any task and when I want to stay for another shift I will be dry and comfortable.
