L'MS 6 Hole Ceramic Strawfire Mini Ocarina with Free Tutorial Songbook (Coffee)

My son loves this quality, ceramic music maker. He has figured out how to play a song from Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and the sound is clear, nice, and easy for him to play it. He wears it a lot. Perfect size to be worn around the neck, and has an adjustable necklace strap. Love it. We are not musicians, so I cannot attest to the note accuracy, but just that it sounds nice to us. Good buy for us at less than $10. Very pleased.

The media could not be loaded. I started with a 12 hole ocarina and moved to this one because it's so tiny and cute. I love that I can just go about my whole day with this thing hanging on my neck. I can play a bit any time I have a minute to kill.The small size also has it's drawbacks; I have average sized male hands, but I have no issue reaching the holes. However, it is more difficult, but not impossible to play perfectly in tune because of breath balancing. The amount of breath you need going up the scale does not increase evenly. An experienced ear can adjust and sound very good. The beginner will still have a blast and probably not even notice the tonal issues. I play 5 or 6 instruments and I don't even care that this is out of tune sometimes because it's so much fun.I bought one for myself and one as a gift for a penny whistle playing friend of mine.

It does work but the higher notes are hard to play. It sounds like a whistle. But it is super cute! I would recommend it if you want something only slightly useable but really really cute. It looks nice and does not look low quality at all.

Now others may say that this is an ear piercing ocarina and is not a good purchase, but you do realize you are basically buying a super soprano ocarina right? It is going to pierce your ears of course, its a super soprano! Your basically getting a piccolo but so much smaller. Now for the actual review, this ocarina is clear sounding and the higher register can be played clearly without having to worry to much about posture or position. Notes can be easily fingered and the air flow scale is decent going from low to medium-high to play the top note with room for more pressure. (This can be a double-edged sword) The actual necklace is pretty and seems structurally sound, I haven’t had it drop the ocarina yet and I have had it for two weeks of constant wearing. So overall great gift and purchase, I bought two one for me and one for my significant other who seemed pleased with the gift, and both of the ocarinas were the same exact quality as described in this review. (We are both musicians with years of experience behind us by the way, so take this review as you will)

It hurts me to leave 3 stars to be honest, but I guess I should of expected it to be bigger than I’d hoped. Does not work well as a necklace, paint is fading and I just opened it, I love the legend of zelda and have another’s ocaraina already made of plastic and sounds a lot better than this one sadly and I paid less. I got this one mainly as a necklace for me and my fiancée (bought 2) but overall it’s a ocarina of time, so I at least had to give it 3 stars. But for build quality, size, and use it would receive 2 stars

Neat little trinket for the Link enthusiast. Bought for my son as a gift and I love that it came with a little booklet complete with songs to play. I love the sound of this thing, but my husband can't stand it, so kiddo just loans him his noise cancelling headphones (see my other reviews for those). It sounds kind of like a breathy whistle, if that makes sense. It's kind of big for everyday wear as a necklace, but I guess it wouldn't sound right if it were smaller. The necklace cord is plenty sturdy enough to support it if you do want to wear it though. Neat toy for Link and music lovers.

i own many other ocarinas, and this one is probably one of my smallest... looks so cute and sounds lovely :)
