Good brush for dogs only
This is a really nice, well made brush. It is easy to hold for those with small hands if you hold it under the handle. I purchased it because a review said that it was for cats, too. I currently have a medium hair cat, but have had others in the past 50 years. I think the bristles are too widely spaced for a cat, which is why it's listed as a dog brush.

Perfect for my Archie!
I recently adopted Archie from my local shelter. He was terrified of brushes. 😢 so I was trying find something that looked less threatening to him. This brush is perfect! He was still a little unsure in the begging, but now he lets me brush him without too much trouble. It’s a little awkward to hold but I’ll deal with that so Archie stays happy, handsome, and mat free!

Easy for the brusher and the brushee
You slip the small handle (which is almost unnecessary) between your fingers and hold the entire back of the brush in your palm. So, you have total control over the brush, without even the slightest twisting that you get with any brush with a standard handle. You can use short, gentle strokes to work out any matting and remove loose hair. Then use longer, more vigorous brushing for a super soft finish. Of course, every dog is different, but ours doesn't even flinch when I hit a particularly knotty patch. For me this product does exactly what it claims it will do.

The dog certainly likes it
My dog loves a good all-over rub and scrtitch and this little number does the trick. She’s a pittie, so she has a short, flat coat, and this gets the loose hairs up and out. I have the same style brush with the rubber nubs that I use at bath time.NOTE—HOW TO USE: there seem to be a lot of people who do not understand how to hold these brushes. Slide the handle between the first and second (or second and third) fingers, so the back of the brush curves into the palm of your hand, and the handle passes between the knuckles.

Good brush for scared pup
My dog doesn't like being brushed because she is afraid of everything but she loves this brush I think because it fits in my palm so she just feels she is being pet. I'm glad I bought this, it's good an detangling but also gentle.

THE BEST DOG BRUSHES EVER!
The media could not be loaded. These palm brushes are just perfect for grooming my standard poodle. They are ergonomically good for anyone, but especially got for my arthritis. He LOVES to be brushed now and making regular brushing so easy that I’m happy to do it more often. He feels like he’s getting petted all over and is getting brushed at the same time.

A small brush that your dog might decide is a critter
The brush is what I thought I wanted. It has tipped plastic bristles so it is not hard on the dog's skin or coat. My dog sheds like there is no tomorrow (a rescue). My previous brush broke after years of use. This brush is quite small -- maybe 5 inches total. While it works as a brush, it is not easy to clean out the hair. When you press down on the bristles to get the hair out, the pad they are stuck in makes a squish noise. My dog definitely thought this was toy critter. So, even though I had her attention, it doesn't work well enough at brushing/cleaning out the hair. It was inexpensive as brushes go.

Another great Conair PRODog brush!
This brush has safe plastic bristles with coated tips. It’s gentle enough to brush around our furry Bichon family member’s face, as well as to brush his tail, ears and paws, but also strong enough to brush the rest of his fur. Unlike a plain metal pin brush, this doesn’t irritate or scratch delicate skin. It removes loose hair and even moderate mats. This brush is a great addition to any grooming kit, and it has the added benefit of the comfort handle. It allows you to brush your dog’s fur/hair without hand cramping and provides greater control of the brush. This is one of three Connor PRODog brushes I’ve purchased and they are all great.

Great for Brittany Spaniels
This brush is the best that I have found! My Brittany Spaniel is 14 months old, and he finally doesn't mind getting brushed while using the ProDog. It's easier on me too, as it's a comfortable fit in the palm of my hand.

Great brush for morkie
My dog did not like the wire brushes, so thought we would try this and he loves it.For reference he's a morkie and it works great with his hair.

Pretty good brush
I like the way it fits in my hand & my dog seems to like it, I think because the bristles aren't scratchy. I'm a little worried the bristles will come off & it doesn't seem to remove as much loose hair as other brushes I've used, but it works well in combination with a de-shedding tool like The Furminator. I also like that I can use it around my dog's ears & other sensitive areas where I couldn't use something like The Furminator.
