Worked well in the claw foot tub
Easy to install. Was the only shower fixture I could find that was tall enough for anyone over 5’ tall and still work in a claw foot tub. I used a different shower head so can’t speak to that. For some reason I was issued a return credit, but I never returned this item 🙃 Rather I returned an ez flo shower extender that was far too short.

Works Great and you can do it yourself
We got a bid to relocate the shower valves from the side wall to the end wall so we could convert a bathtub into a tub/shower combo. The bid was $500 not including the new shower fixture. So, I found this after market conversion kit. Pulled off the old tub spout, bought the right length 1/2" nipple (our required 3" after installing a tile surround too). Used the pipe thread plumbing tape included with the kit, screw it all together, and it was done. The one thing we did have to do was buy another 1/2" clamp ($0.87 for a 2 pack) as just having the one clamp 1/2 way up wasn't enough, especially if you want to put on a different shower head. We did remove the water reducing washer from inside the shower head as otherwise the water just trickles out. And the spray of the water is very wide even when adjusted. But, for $2.50 you can buy another cheap shower head or spend a little more and get a handled shower head. Even if you end up spending a few dollars to make it exactly the way you want. You are way ahead of the game.

Cheap and easy
Was pretty easy to install. My house still has steel plumbing for this bathroom and the only extra thing I had to do was remove the 6 inch long pipe for the faucet and replace it with a 3 inch so the faucet would fit flush against the wall. That was the only hard part of the install . Other then that had it up and going in 30 mins. Feels sturdy and works well. A good cheap easy option to get another shower going to repair my other shower.

Solved a problem
Moved into a new house that had a tub but no shower in one of the bathrooms. Called half a dozen local plumbers to get a shower installed but they all either told me they don't do that type of work, they couldn't give me even an estimate for a month, or they made an appointment with me but never showed up. We needed a shower in time to move in, so I went ahead and purchased this. Install was super simple and it doesn't look half bad except for the bracket that attaches to the wall being plastic and in my case the screws are visible because the pipe sits slightly off the wall due to the tile on the lower portion of the wall. When I first tested it, the water dribbled out and I was afraid that the water pressure was going to be too low, but that was just the junk shower head that the kit includes, which we weren't planning on keeping anyway. Once we put a proper one on, the pressure was fine. The pipe also didn't need any sort of adapter to fit a standard shower head.Overall I'd recommend this without hesitation. I took one star off for the cheap wall bracket. I didn't factor the shower head into the review at all.. just pretend it doesn't exist and the money you are spending here is for the spout and pipe setup and worth it in my opinion.

lost pressure after a month of use
After a month the pressure decreased by allot... not sure what happened.. it didn't have great to begin with but now it's like being peed on.. first few mins pressure but it acts like it clogs or something, brand new pressure tank so isn't that.. I have to push the nozzle down than back up just to get pressure again... if you need something that's functional this is it but it's not spectacular... kinda high priced for what you get :(

Great solution for a tub with no shower
For some reason when the people who owned my house before me remodeled the hallway bathroom they took the plumbing out for the shower. This was an extremely easy solution. I combined it with a $99 shower surround kit from Lowe's. The shower head that comes with it is kind of garbage, but that's really not a big deal.

No Customer Service
I bought this for a house we don't live in yet so it hasn't been used often. We found a leak behind the wall, not a big deal, we did some troubleshooting and discovered it was only leaking when we were using the diverter and it was coming from the back of the spout. We tried tightening it, using new Teflon tape, using plumber's dope, cleaning everything off between so there was no residue. Nothing worked and it's absolutely the tub spout. I reached out through the company's website, which is what Amazon advises. I got an auto-generated email saying they would get back to me within 48 hours. 4 days after I received that email I sent a follow up. I still haven't heard back.Since the opening for their pipe is 3/8" and standard here is 1/2" and traditional, locally available diverter spouts are male threaded and their pipe is also male threaded, there's no way to attach them without buying an adapter. This company doesn't seem to offer this style of spout outside of this kit and the only ones I'm finding are through other 3rd parties on Amazon and don't have good reviews so truly, at this point I'm stuck throwing good money after bad.I'd be happy to update my review once the company has resolved my issue. I do like the design and functionality. The height is great for my 6'2" husband. And frankly, there aren't a lot of similar products on the market. Definitely not any I want to gamble on at this point. So I guess we'll see.
