The School for Good and Evil Series 3-Book Paperback Box Set: Books 1-3 Paperback – October 18, 2022

My daughter got into this series when she was 8 and read the first book cover to cover. She went online and learned about the author and the next couple books coming out. She had me pre-ordering the next 2 books for her. Now in 10 and in 5th grade, she brought the book into her classroom and the teacher was curious about the series and borrowed her first book to read. The teacher's daughter in 7th grade took it off her kitchen counter and read the first book over Thanksgiving break and told us how much she liked the book. We bought the series for the teacher as a Christmas gift for her and her daughter. Now my daughter and her daughter are close friends from sharing their experiences and thoughts about the book.

My almost 11 year old voracious reader thought the first book was amazing and that you could read it again and again. She is finding the second book confusing, so restarted giving it a fresh go, and looking forward to it. She said to give these books 5 stars for sure. These were recommended to me for my daughter by an adult who raved about them with sparkles in her eye.

My version of Harry Potter. (Didn't grow up with them and have tried reading them before but couldn't, don't kill me. Proud Hufflepuff tho.)Magical, beautiful and infuriating... in a good way.Wonderful and accessible writing, vivid world building. And for the fact that they are pretty chunky books, i found them to be fast paced. Didn't want them to end. I still feel a bit in trance and i finished reading the 3 books about a month ago and i am STILL thinking about them and the chracters. I am a huge fan of disney animated films and for me, this scratched the itch i've been searching to scratch while messing with my head a little bit, which i loved. An excellent introduction to getting into reading other stuff than just contemporary as i very much used to do. These played in my head as a dreamworks movie. Highl recommend. Will admit that they might feel a little dense for some people tho. Give the first chapter of the first book a try and then decide for yourself if you have ever been interested in this series.

Sometime I run into a problem with my advanced reader, grade 5. Books designed for her age don't provide a challenge because she reads above level. But, it's difficult at times to find challenging books that don't get into material too mature for her age. This set both challenges her and the material is acceptable to me. Win, win.

Ever since reading the first book, I got hooked on the series! This complete series set is a great price for all three books. I got the first book during a good reads deal for kindle and then bought the second one at full price as an ebook too. I wanted to physically have the book so I bought this set! So worth it. I'm glad that the Goodreads deal brought me to this book!

The School for Good and Evil are wonderful books. My children loved the books and couldn’t put them down. I could not believe that they finished each book for a day to a week. Even my daughter who doesn’t like to read, read the whole series. I recommend the whole series if your child loves fantasy with a twist.

The order took a few days time for it to actually ship, however, it arrived faster than the expected date which was a pleasant surprise. There was not a scratch or dent to be found on the box or the books themselves. I would highly recommend this product.Also the book covers for this series are beautiful and I would suggest this story for both children and adults alike.
