Are you tired of the ordinary? Then spice up your décor with this wild and tropical Boston fern. A popular favorite of the Victorian era, this exotically crafted masterpiece brings back a forgotten age. Standing nearly two-feet high, the lush green leaves bursting forth create a unique appearance that’s second to none. A decorative wood wicker basket adds a nice finishing touch.

Looks SUPER fake. Leaves cut with scissors?
This product was a disappointment. The "leaves" look like they were cut by jagged scissors. You can see the unnaturally sharp triangular edges of each leaf (see photo 1). Also, if the plant is packaged poorly, you will have bent leaves (see photo 2). From a FAR distance, the plant looks ok ... but if it is close by (as mine is), you will notice the NUMEROUS flaws.

Overall the did quite a good job in making it look 'real'
I know my plants. At my home, I use nothing but LIVE plants as part of my home decor.Recently however, I spent some time at my mom's house, and decided her home needed some 'pick me up'...some warmth...some PLANTS. But, alas, my mom is NO GOOD with plants. So I did the next best thing, and bought her some artificial plants, including this one. This fronds (leaves) of this fern plant were designed in a normal growth pattern and size, for this type of a fern. So in that respect it looks pretty convincing. They also were smart to make the smaller or what would be 'newer' or more recent plant growth (and which typically comes from the center or crown of the plant) to be a slightly lighter shade of green (which is also typical for such a plant).Such ferns also often have these weird 'offshoots'...almost like rhizomes or roots....that sometimes appear, shooting out between the fronds. And while it was smart of them to try and replicate these rhizomes, they DO look quite fake and 'plastic-y'...so much so that I cut many of them off, only leaving a few..the ones which are more in the back or less obvious.Lastly, they also DID do a good job of adding some...almost Spanish Moss looking things growing off some of the leaves/fronds. This too adds a look of authenticity. The 'basket' this plant comes in is nice enough...Overall, pretty happy with this plant.

Quite pleased
This is just what I was looking for to fill a chinese fish pot. Turns out the dimensions of the top of the basket are a bit larger than the opening of my pot, so it doesn't sit down all the way on the bottom, but it only projects a little, and I think that's fine. I like having the basket as I could just take the fern out of the pot and use it elsewhere if I wish. The plant couldn't be more natural looking. The "baby" fronds at the top are plastic which is more natural for their waxiness than silk, although latex might be nice too. The little brown tendrilly things add a realistic touch as well. The fronds can be easily bent to position. I love real plants, but I travel too much to keep them properly watered. Plus those little tiny flies you often get..........this is a great alternative.

Beautiful Fern
This fern is beautiful and looks incredibly real. The Nearly Natural product line of plants (I own some of the smaller ones as well as the trees) always seem to look much more realistic than similar offerings and are well worth the price.

Adds a little 'life'!
This Boston fern looks amazingly real! I've had live plants in the past but now I travel a lot, for a month or two at a time, making it difficult to maintain them. I'm so impressed with this one that I'm buying more for different rooms inside and hanging ones for my patio. This even looks good up close and the wicker basket is a very nice one - it's brown with little feet on the bottom. When it arrived in a long box I was skeptical about its appearance but it was perfect - it didn't need to be fluffed or have the leaves arranged. I'm so happy with this that I won't even consider looking at other companies for artificial plants. For the price it's a terrific deal and I hope Nearly Natural will have small Christmas trees available. I have this one in the corner of a hallway on a ceramic garden stool and it adds a little bit of 'life' to an otherwise lifeless spot. I would definitely recommend this and anything else made by them. The pictures don't do justice to the beauty of the plant, there's and mine - it's much prettier in person!

Pleased....
All 4 ferns arrived fast, well-packed, and intact. Basket holding fern is nice. We intend on placing them inside larger hanging planters for the deck. The plants only needed a little "fluffing", but otherwise look fine. They do look quality. Some say plant is larger or smaller than picturde, but I'd say it's just about right. We plan to treat the leaves with UV ray protective fabric spray good in silks and outdoor furniture to protect from fading and discoloration as we intend on using these same plants for the next several years. We will not separate the ferns from the decorative planters they came in, as they sit down well in the light green planters we use year after year. Then during off-season, we can remove the ferns and use them indoors for year-round use.

2/6549 23” Ferns Arrived in 2 Different Styles
So I purchased TWO nearly natural Boston ferns, 6549 23”. One arrived in a long rectangle box without the brand name or anything on the box. The leaf vines are very stiff but somewhat flexible. The other box arrived with the brand name in a very short rectangle box. This fern is definitely without a doubt designed as a hanging fern but packaged as a sitting fern. The leaves are all draped downwards and the vines in the leaves are very flimsy, I am not going at retuning online purchases so I made it work. By the way, I placed them at the top of my kitchen cabinets. You can surely tell the difference but it’s not too bad. In all and all they are pretty decent for artificial plants but definitely not worth $51.99. $35.00 is fair and this is because of the beautiful basket. I gave two stars because someone at Nearly Natural dropped the ball and placed the wrong plant (hanging plant) inside the wrong planter and style it was meant for. Too much money for mess ups.

Exactly as described.
Was packed well and arrived in great shape. The fronds were not crushed or wrinkled. Good size. Very natural.looking.

Otherwise prefect... broken craws at base
Packing was good except it didn’t prevent two of the ‘claws’ from getting dislodge.Disappointed that it can’t sit well with broken’legs’Otherwise item is quite life like.

It's okay
This was my first faux fern that I have purchased. It's not as full looking as in the picture, I am assuming because they positioned ALL the fronds to the front, which is useless. However, the fronds themselves do look real and are of good quality.

Not as described
The picture for this item is totally deceiving. The folliage is half of what is shown and no amount of fluffing changed that. The plant pot is taller than the plant. The pot was damaged when it arrived and the quality does not justify the cost. This is going back tomorrow for a refund. Extremely disappointed.
