Not just for butterflys
This item was great at first we had butterflies everywhere.Until the bees found it. Then it was loaded with so many bees you could hardly see the top.I was so dissapointed to have to take it down.Darn Bees!!!

Not for butterflies
Anyone watching butterflies feed should note that they almost never go for yellow; they seem to prefer purple/magenta shades. I've watched dozens at a time in a field of pale pink milkweed while nearby yellow flowers go untouched. Even the hummingbirds ignored this. If it were made in a color like milkweed or thistle, I'd buy another and give it a try. As it is, it's useless.

Quality
A wind storm hit our city and this butterfly feeder cracked and the metal broke away from the plastic feeder. Very poor quality.

Does it attract?
This item came as advertised and looks good as advertised but I have not yet been able to see any butterflies using it. We have moved it and it is close to plants that attract butterflies but so far has not seemed to attract any itself.
