Does this model allow the user to download speed information onto a computer?

The short answer is yes, the user can download speed information to a computer. The longer, and more complicated, answer is that it's not a plug-and-play function. The manual details the various data formats that can be exported from the Sport 2 through its 9-pin D-type serial port. However, the user must develop the interface for the computer to receive the data.
