Hibiclens Antimicrobial Skin Liquid Soap, 8 Fluid Ounce

Top notch product. I keep this antimicrobial skin cleanser in a tall dispenser by my laboratory in my bedroom bathtoom. This cleanser keeps me out of the hospital and doctor's office. Of course use it as directed but it is effective againdy a number of organisms including MRSA. I am diabetic, hypothyroid with thinning skin in certain areas, have psoriasis on both feet, so getting breaks in my skin is something I deal with chronically. I DO NOT regularly use thos as my cleanser but if an area festers and doesn't respond to antibiotic oinyment or stetoid ointment, I hit the HIBICLENS for a day or two, the issue is resolved. I have used HIBICLENS for the last ten years in this manner and never a problem or infection. I get routine care from my dermatologist and Endocrinologist. Keeps me free of infections

I bought this product for myself, but ended up using it on my dog instead. He had a nasty infected wound from a tick bite. The veterinarian said to apply antibiotic cream, but it just wasn't helping. So I decided what the heck, let me try the Hibiclens on the wound. It was great! I noticed an improvement after just the first day; I continued using it daily and the healing continued along nicely. This should be an addition to any first aid kit, whether human or canine.Since then, I've used it for minor cuts and blemishes on my skin. It seems to work well and causes no irritation to my sensitive skin.Only con is that is if you use it to wash your face, be careful to not get it on your lips, or in your mouth at all because the taste is pretty awful! Also, I second the recommendations to put it in a foaming pump (you can re-purpose a soap pump; you don't have to buy a special new one) to use the product more efficiently. It's a very liquid soap and will run all over the place if you just squirt it on your hands.

Easy to use and does the job. I used on wound and did not get any infection none what so ever. I used once a day only.Note: if you use a white or light colored wash cloth, it will stain the cloth and will not come out. So use a cloth that you plan on throwing away after you completely done with the product. Also, well for me don’t scrub your hands with this, it will cause a rash on the back of the hands. If you do get a rash with this, just use Neosporin twice a day until the rash is gone. The scent is not bad at all to me and my bottle came sealed with plastic on the outside and with inner seal on bottle under the cap.

I like this because it makes me feel more protective of staph that occurs with folliculitis that I unfortunately have experienced on my legs. I haven't had issues with my hair follicles/ staph since using this cleanser. It is used in health care settings, like washing twice with it before a procedure. That makes me feel even more confident that this is helpful to keep staph from messing with my hair follicles .

I am grateful for this Hibiclens scrub. I am a student nurse so I know better than most how important it is to pay attention to the surgeons instructions when it comes to surgical prep. There were no harsh smells associated with the product and for a young Irish-skinned fella it didn't have any harsh effect on my skin. I would just recommend keeping it away from your sensitive regions and of course avoiding your eyes and other mucous membranes. I have lots left after my surgery and I think it will be good to have on hand at home if I ever need an extra thorough washing of my hands after a day in the hospital!I am a Prime member and the shipping was fast as always and the price is competitive compared to in store. You can't go wrong here!

Ive always been a handwasher so when this corona outbreak happened I looked for the good stuff and this is great stuff. Surgeons use it before surgery! I love that it rinses clean away fast and my hands aren't all dried out like they should be if I was using anything else. Get it while its in stock! Just be prepared on how its shipped. Each bottle is shrink wrapped and the bottle has no inner seal so sometimes it seems the product leaks during shipping. I got 3 bottles and one had leaked in its shrink wrap and luckily didn't get on anything else. I contacted the seller and they refunded me because they had sold out. I will buy again when it looks like this 30 day shut in goes for months.

My dermatologist suggested this product to prevent ingrowing hair in the bikini area. Since started using it I've had no more issues and I also started using it on other parts after shaving. It seems to do the trick! I'm using it for cuts and wounds so that it won't get infected and I'm pretty happy with having this handy at home. Only thing bugs me with this is that it's very runny and the bottle is the squeeze type which isn't so easy to use. I would prefer a pump for this consistency. Would buy it again (but I think this amount will last a lifetime!).

This product's active ingredient (chlorhexidine gluconate, or CHG) is present as a 4% solution. The CHG in the public restrooms at the big VA hospital in Dallas is only 2%. You can kill pathogens just by making them read the label. This my travel size bottle, which fits in my shaving kit. I love this stuff, and I also buy it in 32 oz. bottles for home use.

Read about this stuff for dealing with foot odour issues. Makes my feet feel fresh after a good scrubbing and use it once a month to help keep bacteria off my feet.
