Garland Rug Sparta Area Rug, 5-Feet by 7-Feet, Black

I used this to kind of line my bed frame 4 years ago and it is great except for all hair and hay I track in that get stuck in this rug. I have to scrub the thing to death to get some things out of it. Besides that though it hasn't ripped, my bed has never slipped, and it hasn't ripped or frayed. Looks great years later (besides the grass I get stuck in it).

I read a lot of mixed reviews but most were still positive and now I see why. The rug does look amazing but it took work to get it to that point. As soon as it arrived I could see the white pieces of material all over the rug. So I took it out back to open it and had to shale it out, sweep it, and the shake it out again before bringing it back in the house. The white seems to be the material off the back of the rug that feels and moves like plastic. The rug is almost paper thin and very stiff.Once I lad the rug out I had no problem sliding it around the floor to get it lined up right because of the plastic back (that's not a good thing). Then it still had white all over it and was faded looking. So I decided to vacuum it and that's when the beauty of the rug popped out. It looked amazing!Since this rug isn't I a high traffic area I don't have to worry about it getting moved out of place so I don't think I will need the rug pad.So overall I like the rug. I had to work for it but it seems worth it so far.

Rug is very stiff and it sheds the white substance underneath it on the perimeter of the rug. After vacuuming it is ok, the design is nice, and seems to be holding up nicely.

This rug is exactly what it says it is. A simple black rug. We purchased this so that the dog doesn't scratch up our floors trying to jump onto the couch (we rent so want the security deposit back!).PROSIt fits very well in our room.It is all black (we have a black dog so black was important to us).It was really cheap, but the quality still seems decent.It is fairly soft and generally great for feet.Great warranty.Does the job (stops scratches).CONSCame with a bunch of white dots everywhere (not sure where from since it was wrapped in plastic).It's black, so really shows every little thing (besides the dog hair).

The rug came in looking perfect. I bought it to absorb sound so my home won’t have an echo quality that disturbs my neighbors. It works great for that purpose. It looks exactly like the picture. I took off one star because it came with a bunch of white stuff on it that I had to vacuum off. However, everything else appears just fine.

this rug isn't horrible but you do end up needing to clean it multiple times a day as it tends to pick up a lot of lent and other things, i think its because of what the rug is made of.Now if you don't tend to be around the rug and use it for more of a nice look in an area of your home or room that you don't spend most of your time it'll work.Its also not soft at all, and to be fully transparent, it actually hurts. i would of returned it but i needed a rug and you can bet ill be getting a new one eventually as this rug just aint it.

The rug is just as some reviewers said. It comes out with white spots on it but if you have a good high power vacuum the problem is easily fixed. I did not buy it for comfort . I purchased it because I started working from home and needed something for my desk area. I purchased a padding to go underneath so it wouldn’t move around while I am sliding in my desk chair. If you’re using it as a office rug buy a floor mat because your chair will wear out the spot you use pretty fast.

perfect for my boys room! i ordered the indigo and sure enough it's indigo/dark blue which is the color i was hoping for.if your looking for a comfortable soft rug this is not it. it has short fibers so it's ideal for my high traffic boys room. it will help with keeping feet from getting cold in the mornings in the winter months. it does have a slight odor to it, but if you've been inside a new home it has that new home smell, it's not overpowering and it doesn't bother me at all. i'm very happy with the purchase and you can't beat the price.
