Rubie'sMonster High Child's Lagoona Blue Costume Wig

Not a lot of hair in the wig but it is cute. Took off the ears because we are using it for a mermaid costume not the monster high character it was made specifically for. Fits my 7 year olds head very well - almost a bit too big but better too big then too tight.

We bought this wig for my daughter's halloweem costume and had a good fit, but some of the hair in the front wouldn't let her see but we fixed it and she looked great.Everyone complimented her on the great hair!!If it doesn't matter to you that this wig might have some hairs in the front that don't let you see, buy it!!

We got this to go with the Lagoona Blue costume (also from Rubies). It's nicely made, but definitely a costume piece so don't expect something that looks like a real hair wig. Having said that I was impressed with how well made it was for the price. It is nice a light and my daughter had no trouble wearing it all night at both a Halloween party and out Trick-or-Treating. It help up very to the usual running around with friends and playing that goes on with kids. Also this has a mesh base for the wig with keeps it nice and light and also allows you to strategically bobby pin it so it stays on. Would most certainly buy again!Pros:-Well made-Nice and light-Very cute-Has mesh base so it is breathable and you can easily bobby pin it so it will stay on-Matches the costume perfectly. (The fins on the costume match the ones on the wig.)-Was able to fit my daughter even after we pinned up her masses of hair. (She's got a LOT of hair.)Cons: - Can get a bit tangled (little brother got hold of it) and you have to be VERY careful brushing out the knots or it will frizz like crazy. Small spritz of de-tangler helps.

I don't know if the picture looks too nice or if it had already been worn before I got it, but it came matted and tangled on one side, without any pink flower. The part is in the middle of the head, not on the side like in the picture. It's loose but I guess a few pins will help. The blue hair are much lighter than in the picture, not so visible.

I bought this for my grand-daughter to go with the rest of the costume. It doesn't look anything like the picture. The blue through the hair is not really visible. I wanted to send it back but my grand-daughter insisted she didn't care so I am going to keep it under protest.

this wig is really long...in the photo the wig does not look as long as it really is...my daughter is 7 years old and the wig comes to the middle of her waist and my daughter is a very tall girl for her age...she loves the wig..she has been wearing it all day in the house...Halloween is tomorrow..she is loving the wig..the hair strands are very soft and flowly, easy to run your fingers through..it has a wave to the strands, which are shiny and the strands are curly at the ends....now the hair does shed but that is if you just treat it like junk but if you take care of it, it will take care of you..i think it is really nice wig for the price and sooo cute on...my daughter loves it!!..i do recommend it for any lil girl whether using it for a monster high costume or any costume your lil princess may have

This was one of two wigs I ordered to go with my two granddaughter's mermaid costumes. This was definitely the better of the two wigs. The quality is quite good for this price. The wig was wrapped in netting when it arrived so it held it's shape well and wasn't tangly. I didn't have to do anything more than shake it out lightly and it fell right into place. It fit my 3 year old granddaughter a tiny bit large, but it is a child size wig, not toddler. She wore it with no real problem other than it tended to very slightly tip forward on her little head. The 7 year old tried it on and it fit her perfectly. The cap inside has some elasticity to it, helping to keep it in place when worn. I would order this one again if I needed another mermaid wig.

I would not buy. The part is in the middle and really ugly(not smooth or flattering as the picture shows) The aqua ears on top were lopsided, one being further back then the other. The wig is just not a nice soft quality. Also, I'm having a hard time returning it. It takes quite some time to reach you and then they are trying to say I have 14 days from purchase to return. It took at least half that time to get here. Would not risk purchasing from this company again.
