Threshold Carson Horizontal Bookcase, Espresso

I now have 3 of these and love them all. Great pieces, hold lots of weight and look very high end.

Package must have been thrown in transport because 2 shelves were slightly damaged (but not enough to return). Some of the laminate fronts could have used another layer of lacquer. Certain pieces slightly cracked while screwing them together. Great looking piece at good price, but it's not a heirloom you'll be passing to your children. It's very narrow in depth which makes it a great accent piece for space-challenged areas, apartments, townhomes. **** solid stars!

Great bookshelf. Perfect height and very sturdy. Fast delivery!My only complaint is that it came all banged up with some pieces broken.

We have limited space in t he new house we are renting and the dimensions were even more weird and we could not find a bookcase to fit at any other major name brand department store. I could not believe how PERFECT it fit in the right spot and it was easy to follow instructions to put together. It looks beautiful - its JUST RIIIIIIGHT!

I've had this piece over six months and have been happy with it. The color matches other pieces in my office well. The only drawback is the cardboard back.

We had to eliminate a larger, taller bookcase and elected to purchase this low-boy unit. It was able to accommodate 95% of our books. The assembly and construction materials was also satisfactory. Would recommend.

Downside: the instruction sheets (one was missing) do not adequately explain the cam screw, so if you aren't familiar with it, you will get a severe headache from assembling this thing. The pilot holes for the back panel are missing and therefore it will be your responsibility to create them. Two other cam holes are missing. The customer service for this product was somewhat pathetic. It took me about eight hours to assemble the product and I had to call twice. If you have no problem with that, go ahead and buy it. It does look nice when completed.

Fairly easy for my husband and I to assemble. Sturdy, but still particle board so be careful when tightening hardware. Over all happy and exactly what we were looking for to hold our cable boxes for the mounted tv. Just need to have some pictures developed to display on top.
