KYBKG4163 Gas-a-Just Gas Shock,Silver, White

Good ride for comfort and handling used for offroading for pathfinder, but it has same height as oem overall a quality parts replacement. Recommended

Opened the long amazon shipping box five mins ago, wondering why it's so light. Saw the KYB box, feather light of course, opened it and no shock inside. Totally unacceptable. Not even worth the 1-star.

Bushings on one shock crapped out after just over 18 months / 10000km with nothing more than a few gravel roads. Pretty disappointed.

These worked out well. I am not real good with working on things with moving parts, but after looking how the rear shocks were installed on my 2002 Infiniti QX4 and watched a few videos, I decided to do my self. ( I have a good selection of tools, which naturally helps). Installation went great. I went to a nationwide tire store and they wanted to charge me $350.00 to install them. I bought the shocks for a little under $100.00 and 3 hours of my time and viola, I have new rear shocks.

From my experience, the bushings dont last! 3 years and 10 months and the rubber failed! It does not make sense onto why the ribber bushing would not last than stock. I contacted the manufacturer and they were no help they said to contact Amazon. Are you kidding me? Your company made these shocks. Also i was also inquiring the diagram for the shocks to see if I can replace the bushing, they say its not sold separately. No help what so ever. I will follow their advice and goto Amazon. Here I am writing a review. Dont buy these!

Fit my 1999 Nissan Pathfinder just great. Had to take off the tire and then take out two bolts with a breaker bar since they were rusted with the age. Install took about 3 hours from start to finish. The ride is now so much smoother and doesn't squeak anymore when I am driving slowly over bumps. The shock itself felt solid even though it was not as thick as the ones that were on prior.
