GM Genuine Parts 15963441 Fixed Radio Antenna Cable, Black

This is the part you need to rebuild your 1994 Chevrolet K1500 Blazer antenna. Relatively easy to install just make sure, as other reviewers have mentioned, to run the 7/32 self tapping screws into the bracket then remove PRIOR to installing to create threads in the mounting bracket holes. Prefect length and perfect fit. Exact part match to the original factory antenna part. Also, retain the black bezel and bezel nut from the original antenna to reuse with this part as they are not included. Took about 20 minutes to install.

This part was not threaded. I simply used the mounting bolts off the old part and carefully screwd them into new part. The metal was soft enough to use little bolts to make threads like a tap would do. Do this before you position part for installation. Hope this helps!

Perfect fit for my 1991 GMC Sierra 1500

This was an exact fit for my 90 Chevy 2500. I had to tie a string on the old one before removing it so I could use the string to pull the new one in. The mounting screws went in and fit perfect and the spacer and lock nut were both reused as this new one does not come with any hardware. Be aware once you plug in the extension cable it it locked in permanently and will not be removable.

Overall, a great replacement for my 1990 Chevy Cheyenne. However, the length was a few inches shorter than the OEM, thus leaving little slack for adjustments.

Everything was good except for the mounting holes not having any threads. Had to run a tap in them before it could be mounted.

A little difficult to install on my 89 Silverado due to tight space, but i figured it out and it works great!
