Successfully installed by a total newbie, works as expected
I am only moderately handy, but I had no trouble installing it after watching a couple of youtube videos and reading the instructions that arrived along with the part. A ne'er-do-good plumber quoted $100 for installing this, but he stood me up a number of times, so I took the plunge and installed it myself. The part worked as expected - lights up, burns, no issues.

Worked 1 month
For the price of the item I would imagine & hope it would work more than 4 weeks. Stopped working one day past the return window date. Pilot light works but burner won't. 1 star only because 0 stars isn't an option.

Like it it fits perfectly with my hot water tank. Easy to install no problems

Perfect retrofit
Old thermopile took a dump, replaced it, then wouldn’t ignite at all. Swapped the entire burner assembly with this on my old 30 year-old Whirlpool water heater and it worked perfectly right off the bat.

Perfect. Parts were exactly what I needed. Got my water heater up and running in just 20 minutes.

Fixed issue but missing part
The item was correct and fixed my issue but had to do some swapping of parts. Was missing the brass threaded nut on the pilot light tube and I didn’t have one or even the tool to press the end of the tube. So I had to use old one and everything worked out.
