If It Ain't Broke.......Don't Fix It.
This used to be a great little game. Over the past 6 years I've purchased about 10-12 of them. However, the last one I bought (about 6 weeks ago) is totally different in make. The buttons are too small and hard to push, it is very slow, it requires a constant repeating of pushing the buttons, often I ruin a game by pushing the wrong button in error due to the small size, and in general the new "engineering" is altogether bad. It actually hurts my hand and arm to play very long. I've kept 2 in different rooms of the house in the past and played constantly when I had free time. Now I'm looking for a totally different brand because this one won't do at all. Out of all the old type I've bought, I only got one that was a lemon. Each other one lasted for a long time and seldom required batteries. I've tried to adapt to the new style.....but it's impossible. Don't waste your money.Whoever decided to redesign this thing needs to pay heed to the old adage: "If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It."

GOOD GIFT FOR GREAT UNCLE
In my circumstance, this was a perfect gift for my great uncle as his health has declined. He always loved to play Solitare at his kitchen table with cards. He can no longer sit & play this &/or some other games/puzzles. Games on the PC were frustrating to him & cumbersome. I gave this to him for Christmas along with the batteries. He had to replace the batteries today! MAJOR PLAYER! LOVES IT! He can lay back in a recliner or bed & still play his game. I am sure there are many reasons why this is a great product. I can just speak from my prospective of seeing an aging, health-in decline man whose brain wanted to 'play his game" & now he can, does & loves it. I did not pay much for it at all, but no $ amount can be placed on this to me! I will be ordering more games here. This is of good quality as he has played it A LOT. The buttons are a great size for him & the screen is clearly visible. Best gift I've given. THANKS!

Weak screen
The screen so very hard to see. We have an identical unit and the buttons are going bad so we bought another one. Very difficult to make out the cards or suits. Changed batteries and still just as bad.

Nice game
This Electronic Pocket Solitaire Game with Large LCD Screen is different than expected in that the large screen doesn't necessarily have large numbers and letters displayed. I wear reading glasses when I play this game, so it works out OK. The buttons are in different places than my previous solitaire game, so I frequently restart the game accidentally instead of moving cards as intended. Make sure you read the instructions, because it has buttons you may be unfamiliar with. I have enjoyed having this handheld game and use it almost daily.

Complete POS.
Had an earlier version, used AA batteries, was great, stopped working. Probably wore it out. This one complete POS. Screen is 2/3 size of the other, has some kind of blue rectangle over the score where it cannot be seen at all and the display is so dim can barely see any of it. Checked the batteries that came with it: 1.55 volts. Guess I have a $14 and change set of new AAA batteries. Rest is worthless.

Product Review
This game did not work upon receipt. Talked to the seller who said to change the batteries & he'd be happy to send the money for the new ones. Batteries were changed but didn't bother to ask seller to reimburse me. It works fine, but the buttons do not push easily & they are so close together as well as quite small so it's easy to delete the game you're playing while trying to push a different key. Another negative is that is does not light up.
