HHIP3900-0200 Quill Stop for Bridgeport Mill

I bought this as a depth stop for my craftsman drill press. To my surprise the threads were the same as my depth stop threads. I also needed a quill stop for this drill press, which it did not come with when manufactured. I looked at ways to make a quill stop on the internet, but it involved to much work. I found out with this depth stop it also works for a quill stop, if you simply move the stop from the top of stop casting to below the stop casting, it becomes a quill stop. Two steps One piece of equipment.

I have old craftsman drill press and had to move two nuts up and down to adjust stop of drill. This device is used instead of the nuts. Hate to say how many times I didn't move nuts because how long it took. With this device, just takes a second. LOVE IT I use almost every time I drill something.

It’s a bit pricey for what it is. It works well and fwiw finished nicely.

Simply little item that makes is super easy to set up a quick approximate quill stop.

I installed this on my drill press and it makes setting the depth of my drill extremely easy and fast. The spring is just the right tension and stays exactly where I want it so my depth is just what I set it to.

This works great on my Craftsman drill press.

These cut down on the time it takes to screw adjustment nuts on the quill stop adjustment.

A good deal and very good price

Cheaper to buy one than to make one. Had to modify the one I got because it was bulky and would foul the down-feed lever on my drill press.
