Samsung Galaxy S7 Case S-View Flip Cover - Black

After buying a horribly cheap flip cover which I returned the same day I stumbled across this gem. It is specifically made for the Samsung S7 phone so the window is interactive. You can see who is calling and answer without opening the flip cover. It's slender and feels like it will be very durable. I had an off-brand flip cover for the past two years which protected my phone well but would throw an error message when I got a phone call saying obstructed view. I forgot how nice it is to have a case that works with my phone. Totally love this case and the gold looks very nice! I probably should purchase another one as a spare.

So far best case iv had and I went through Alot. Has a nice velvet feal, can work with the front flap closed. And the window works the touch screen. Has a little sensor so it closes the screen when closed . And offers good protection as the raised edges Simi protect the screen if the case opens when dropped. I've had it a year now and still looks new

I've always been an Otterbox guy. They are so rugged and I use to be a plumber so that is how I got onto them. However I think they seriously failed design wise for the Samsung Galaxy S7 case. The reason is, the screen protector insert on the S7 defender case does not have good responsive-ness based on the horrible reviews it received. Now that would be fine if the screen protector they sold seperately would work. The problem w/ that one is the adhesive is only on the top and the bottom, leaving it very sucestible to debris and stuff getting under it, possibly damaging the screen.That's where this case comes into play. When it first came out it was much more expensive. Currently it is $10, compared to like $50 or so when it was released. I should buy an extra just as a backup before it comes rare as is like $80.Anyways, this case isn't the most rugged but I have dropped my phone a ton of times & it's still kicking (no cracks on the screen). I got it because I read a CNET article and this was one of the best cases featured. Also being by Samsung really helps my OCD. I really like that it covers the screen so I don't have to put one of those films or glass pieces on.Pros:-Covers screen when not using-Can access some features w/ it closed-Phone is still in tip top condition after many drops-Samsung official accessoryCons:-Part where it flexes will eventually wear out-Isn't too hard to scratch glass of cover-Sometimes it gets in the way, having to hold it open

Excellent case for the Galaxy S7. After getting the ZAGG screen protector (edge to edge cover) and I put the a TPU case on and 3 days later, the bottom corners started lifting & no fault to ZAGG. So, I thought I would try this case, phone snaps in, fit's really nice just like when you put a laptop into a case. It's really nice that you see text's, phone calls, etc thru the window & don't have to open the case. Highly recommend it. Doesn't add much weight to the phone. Very light. Worth the money

When I purchased the case i expected it to be great because it's a Samsung product, but I never expected it to be as fabulous as it is. I ordered the gold case and it's a perfect match for my gold phone--it looks so classy. The construction is solid and of fantastic quality. I love the interactive cover--you don't even have to open the case cover to take pictures, answer the phone, check mail, notifications--anything! I love, love LOVE this case!! And, its excellent protection for your phone!

Attractive, sturdy, and very functional case for my S7 -- I'm quite pleased. I was concerned about being able to access the volume keys, since the "spine" of the book-like cover hides them, but they are still quite responsive to the touch THROUGH the case (by design). The see-through window on the front of the case is clear and bubble-free (unlike a previous case I owned for a different phone).

I bought the Samsung Galaxy S7 S-View case because others were too bulky and hard to take out of the case for VR apps. This case looks and feels good in the hand while offering some functionality with the case closed. You can mount 2 apps visible on the outside screen, but only certain apps will actually work without opening the phone. I chose the Camera and Phone apps, and they work fine. The only problem with the Camera App is that the picture you take is square like the window of the case cover. That's fine if you allow for that and don't mind cropping the picture later to put in an album. If you just want to take a quick picture, it works great. The Phone App works great, so when you swipe the phone symbol, your favorites appear on the window to make a call. You can answer and hangup without opening the cover. Awesome! The time and date in the window works great too. The phone also charges wirelessly without opening the top cover, and it can be turned on or off with the cover closed. The case will probably protect the phone if dropped, but it depends on if the cover stays closed or not when it hits. The magnet is not very strong, but I'll take the trade-off to have a slim phone again. It now fits into my pants pocket and shirt pockets without feeling too bulky and it won't get scratched with the cover closed. Overall, I am very happy with this case.

Perfect fit, great protection for my Samsung S7. Phone snaps in easily. Case is magnetic and activates/deactivates display when opened or closed. This case is for the standard S7 and not the S7 Edge. The case is nice because it keeps the phone slim while still offering a level of protection from drops or falls. Recommended.

Best soft case i have tried yet for the S7. Its simple, offers a clip in bumper with a soft feel slim casing that gives the phone a streamline look and feel. I even ordered another one for my GF! She loves it as well. When I first got this case they were 60 bucks so for the price they are now they can't be beat!
