Q: I purchase a set of these every year, I microwave with them and only now saw it says not too, why are they not microwavable?

According to the FDA, the melamine that the plates are made of, could migrate into the food when it reaches certain temperatures. Melamine is a chemical that has many industrial uses. (http://www.fda.gov/food.) I never heat my great granddaughters food in the microwave using the Zak "Frozen" dishes. I use them mostly for cold foods. I hope this helps.

Q: The actual product is not stamped on the bottom "bpa free".how am i supposed to trust that this is bpa free just because it's printed on the box??

Q: Is the Paw Patrol set suitable for a boy?

Yes absolutely. I purchased the paw patrol set for my nephew. Although mine looked different from this picture. It was a red and blue box.

Perfect birthday gift!

Got this as a birthday gift for my 4 year old who is a huge peppa pig fan! All the dishes are very sturdy and dishwasher safe. It’s also an ideal serving size for little ones.

Cute set !

I got it on sale. But it was a little overpriced without the sale going. My son loves super hero’s as most young boys do. He’s grown out of his smaller plates and bowls so I got him all new stuff recently and just needed something cute to add in and give him for his birthday! They are very thick and seem like they will hold up well
