Q: Is chestnut comparable to nut, is it true to the picture as being a lighter beige or is it darker than the picture?

Nut brown is darker and noticeably so. Display makes it a bit tough to tell but seeing them in store, chestnut was a bit more beige. I’ve had a pair of the Wally nut for about two years and they have stayed closer to khaki color even with regular wear and a few washes. (Vid is Wally Nut with black background for contrast) - hope it helps.

I think you are confused Men's sizes are smaller when you convert. 41mm is a women's 10 or men's 8

Absolutely. I own more than one pair for this reason. They allow for my wide feet to spread a little during the day. I'm on my feet more than 8 hours a day.

Q: How long are the laces? My dog destroyed mine and I need to find new ones.

There are not long enough to tie. Just long enough to hold through so the holes. I did see that sale the laces separate on here. That might be easier to get the correct laces.
