Honda Fit 2007 thru 2013 Haynes Repair Manual

It may have it's limitations but, I've tried getting a repair manual from the people Honda says to go to but they don't even sell the repair manual anymore. This is your best option.If you don't know your way around car mechanics, this is very helpful. I've already completed some of the B schedule work using this manual.

The book got to me fast, in great condition. The information is very generic. Worthless in my situation. After trying to replace a front wheel bearing myself, it ended up costing me 2x what it would have if I had taken to a shop in the 1st place. YouTube led me astray, not really a DIY project.

The main thing that makes this book worth owning are the torque specs. The photos are not very clear and generally small in size.For my primary maintenance how-to guidance I find that on-line video websites are the best source. And I use this book to back up the specific details that pertain to my car.4 stars because of the torque specs, since those are difficult to find elsewhere.

Great pics and descriptions. My only improvement would be to put the information in the reading instead of telling you to refer to another place in the manual Example...it would take less time on my part, and less words on your part, when telling me in the radiator maintenance section that one gallon of fluid is required right there instead of tell me to "refer to sec so and so."

This should come in handy on repairs to my wife's 2013 Fit. It's been a while since I used Haynes manuals.I wish there was an official Honda factory repair manual available though, like there is for my Nissan Altima--much better and more comprehensive!

nothing like the service manual. bought to help replace a friend's drain pan. didn't include enough information, though gave enough hints that realized we were missing some parts before we started.

I get a Haynes Manual for all my cars. They save me a lot of trouble when repairing or checking a repair that the garage has done. I guess sadly the day will come when a repair book won't be published and all will be put online (call me old fashioned, I like a book). I noticed already, the book has "shrunk" from the old days. Still I think it is a "must have" for your car

Uk users beware!! This book is not really suitable for the RHD Jazz models sold in the UK. some model aspects are common but a LOT are not!!! Also a lot of things are not covered, or even mentioned, as in UK Haynes manuals.

Has all the information I wanted for the car I have just what I wanted

Quality of illustrations less than outstanding. Of limited use even for something as basic as replacing plugs which on a Honda Fit, I'll admit, seems to approach major surgery. (Kind of disappointed in Honda engineering too. My 29-year old Toyota Corolla seems much better designed for easy servicing). In the long run, who knows, maybe it can save as much as it costs but there might be more effective information on the net. Three stars is giving it the benefit of the doubt.
