Mack's LurePip's Leader Dispenser

I've used these for years. When I went out trout fishing with my family, I was always setting up rods and re-tying leaders. Pip's box was a great time saver ~ I pre-tied and stored leaders and dropped them in my bag. When we got to the lake, you tie an end loop, put it on the swivel and you're ready to go. Break one off, pull another from the box and connect it the same way.. Very fast.

I bought this for my steelhead leaders. I was able to use it even when I couldn't feel my fingers.

I organize all my pre tied steelhead leaders with the pip box and it works great along with being easy to use. For the price, you cant beat this product. Watch the You Tube video on this product and you will be sold.

Love the convenience of these boxes, they do have their limit as far as how many they can hold, but it's so much better than having to tie up all your leaders on the water!

Waste of time to return it.

The only way for the lid top to stay SECURELY, is to glue some MASKING TAPE around the rim or outer side of the bottom half, and then coat with super glue!!! BEFORE THE COATS OF SUPER GLUE ARE APPLIED, THE "RIM" MUST BE SANDED WITH 600 Grit BLACK Emery paper and then thoroughly scrubbed with Acetone or Epoxy Thinner!! Do this in a well ventilated place!! By the way, the Original PIP'S Company NEVER used Brittle Plastic for any part!! FURTHERMORE, The inside bottom was coated with a generous layer of CORK!! The current New Material coating the BOTTOM is a THIN LAYER OF something between Ethafoam and Neoprene!!! I'm a scientist but not a POLYMER CHEMIST. You may rightfully ask, "So what's the PROBLEM with the VERY THIN COATING on these new PIP'S LEADER DISPENSER??!!!! Well, I HAND Sharpen nearly all my STEELHEAD & SALMON HOOKS (With the EXCEPTION of VMC INFINITY-SERIES CONECUT permasteel hooks including and under 2/0 Bait hooks which Do Not require Sharpening)!! These hand sharpened hooks with the thin coating of these NEW Pips, go through the Neoprene-like material and touch the hard bottom of the dispenser and they very often lose some of the Ultra Sharpness!!! In 1975 I STARTED SHARPENING my steelhead and Salmon hooks. And, I actually kept records of my catches. As God is my witness, I QUADRUPLED my Catches!!!!! Throughout the beginning years of my Steelhead/Salmon fishing, barring using more advanced techniques, upgrading things in my fishing tackle dramatically increased my catches. 1- Hand sharpening the hooks. Because VMC Conecut Infinities were not available until the 1990's. 2- The other was going from fiberglass to graphite rods.

Bought 2 for gifts. They were a hit. Works well.
