purchased this to clean up some green water algae that was developing in my small koi pond. The instructions said to put two packets in and it would clear up in a week. It has been several weeks now and did not see any improvement!

I have been struggling with my water garden. It has white rocks (Green and brown prior to treatment) we simply could not get to clear up. By following the Pond Guy website for, Algea treatments, then muck treatment (Nature's Defense), the water is no longer brown in deep spots, and algea is gone!We have a UV filtration system that makes it clear as well, but without getting the balance dialed in, there is no way I can keep it crystal clear. Thank you Pond Guy for your amazing products and guidance.I recommend reading the Pond Guy website if you plan to make a water garden or small pond. Do it right the first time (proper filtration system, premium liner, hoses etc), as costs down the line add up fast. I tried to make my own system which should have been adequate, however due to our climate it needed an extra boost. With the closed filtration and built in UV light system I no longer have to clean my filter every few weeks/months. It has a purger that I water my garden with while expelling debris from filter media. Highly recommended.
