This works great for polishing brass and copper in a vibrating tumbler for a few hours. I get several uses out of it before it needs to be changed out.

This is great for lining the bottom of a bird cage. There is literally no smell, it is crushed very small which allows it to coat bird droppings, and it is very cost effective. I have a very large bird cage and this is more than enough to fill the bottom tray multiple times.Only negative thing that I can think to say about it is that there is no ziplock top to close it up. Really not a big deal for me and I will definitely be buying this again!

It's wonderful. Keeps smells down better then other bedding I have used.

I use this in my rats litter box and we both love it. They love to dig in it before going potty and I love that it keeps this cage smelling nice and there is a lot of bang for your buck. I will continue to use this for them.

I have two birds in separate cages, and this is a great alternative to printed newspaper and/or paper towels. Do be sure to put it UNDER the screen at the bottom of the cage. It is NOT intended for birds to come in contact with. Virtually dust free, absorbs well, looks SO much better than paper, and with the cat poop scooper, much easier to keep clean. Only drawback to purchasing via Amazon? Mine had a hole in the bag and it got into EVERYthing -- my plastic bags, fell out on floor, etc. Company could do a little better it making sure that there are no hidden holes in the bag and if there are, simply using a piece of tape would alleviate the problem. The hole is located in a place that would have already been IN the bag when put in box to ship, so sloppy on Amazon's end. That said, I will order again!

You can't beat this alternative use for the price. This Crushed Walnut Shell "bedding" for pets also makes a FANTASTIC top dressing for planters instead of the more conventionally recommended aquarium gravel and glass beads and such and it is 100% biodegradable over time. Sure it absorbs "some" water during watering, but this is insignificant compared to the insulating properties it provides for the soil between waterings - preventing both water evaporation from the soil surface while at the same time providing an easy to maintain weed control and a rich chocolate brown fine textured covering which is both aesthetically pleasing and very functional and nowhere near the price per square foot of coverage of more conventional top dressings.

I purchased this product as a bargain to add in the cleaning of shells. I think this product is a value for the amount of material I got for cleaning.!

Love it, but I have to say I use it as a polishing media. I use it to tumble my aluminum jewelry to make them shinny. Work perfectly.

Es un sustrato fácil de limpiar, no hay mucho que agregar es muy buen producto.
