I'd buy it again
Great rod, easy to restrike, and lays a nice bead. Slag is a bit thicker than 6011 or 7018 but isn't too hard to remove.

Great product.. Shipping box was terrible.
Product was what I wanted. Worked great.The only complaint was the shipping box. The end was completely open. I don't know how the product stayed with the shipment.

I like em better than 7018's.
My understanding is that 7018 rods need to be baked to keep them moisture free... who knows, maybe this is just if you're welding race car frames. These 7014's lay down a great bead, easy slag removal, and give better penetration and strength than 6013's (even though I like them a lot). This is a quality Hobart product that lives up to the brand name. And you don't have to worry about cooking them before you use them.
