Where the rubber meets the road.
I do lots of cycling and run through tires regularly. This is the second set of these tires that I have purchased and (knock on wood) they have lasted without any damage, to include punctures. They are easy to mount to various clincher wheelsets and they have a relatively low rolling resistance and provide excellent grip on the road. Unless weight is a consideration for you, they aren't the lightest on the market. However, they are durable and come in at a very competitive price compared to other brands.

Great roadbike tire!
I installed one of these on my roadbike over a year ago. Fantastic tire. No problems at all. I installed a liner with a high quality tube. Holds air for a long long time. Way better than going tubeless, they don't hold air. Installation isn't easy, so hire someone to do it if you don't know what your doing.

Solid and durable - especially for the price
First time using Vittoria tires, so I went entry-level to get a feel for the brand. These have been reliable and performed well in (so far) 5 months of use. I installed them (700x23) on my road bike in October 2022 and 90 rides later I have over 2800 km (1800 miles) on them. The fact that in this time, I have only one flat on the unmaintended and crack-filled streets of San Jose makes that all the more impressive. They may not be the fastest, lightest or most responsive. But they are not slow, heavy or unresponsive.Cons:- not super easy to get the tire on and off the rim- the rated tire pressure (7-10 bar or 100-145 psi) is WAY TOO HIGH. The tires will perform like rocks, flat easier and wear faster at those pressures. I am running mine at 90 (front) and 95 (back) and the durability, comfort and performance have improved significantly!

Good price for these tires.
I go through a lot of tires with the amount of riding I do. These fit well and the weight was not an issue. We will see how they preform over the long run. I know how long a set of tires generally lasts me so I will update once I have a better idea of their performance. They seem to be fine so far. I do recommend them mainly for the price range.

Perfect! Smooth, grippy, and a little protection from debris
Bought this to replace a worn down Continental Gatorskin. So far after a couple hundred miles on mostly smoothish black top, I really have no complaints. Wear is good/normal, the ride seems smoother (aluminum frame ’93 Cannondale) than the Gatorskins, and no punctures yet. I have full confidence in these for the days I get a chance to go out on long rides of 50+ miles.Using Gatorskins for so long, I forgot how difficult it was to get the last length of bead on rims. A little soapy water, zip tie, and tire lever, and the tire mounted nice and tight.Pretty good value I think if you don't want to spend the extra money on higher end tires. I don't have any regrets except for feeling guilty not purchasing a Gatorskin.

Don't Do It...you've been warned.
Poor quality, period. On my second ride after installation, I had a puncture. This was during typical road use; the same ride I take on a regular basis. The puncture was simply a small, thin metal shard that went through the middle seam of the tire, and punctured the new tube, of course. Brand new tires, that are supposed to be puncture resistant, and I get a puncture right through the tire after two uses. So disappointing. Additionally, these tires are a nightmare to install because of how tight they are. Seriously, I've never spent so much time and effort installing a tire. There are similarly priced tires that will be easier to install and won't suffer a puncture after two rides. Returned the tire. Never purchasing these again. Purchase these at your own risk.
