I normally wear a 34-35, got a 36 because I saw reviews saying they run small, and ended up having to exchange them for a 38. They run really small in the waist.Other than that they are great shorts. I don’t like shorts that rise too high above the knees when sitting down, which these don’t, so I appreciate the length. They are well below the knee when standing similar to board shorts. I also have a pair of the 11” that are right about knee level when standing, well above the knee when sitting, so buy whichever is your preference.You’ll need to wash them before you wear them because they come extremely ridged. You should always do with new clothes anyway so it’s not a problem, just mentioning it in case someone doesn’t expect to do that.Been wearing dickies for decades and it’s the same exact quality.

Dickies shorts have always been one of my favorites. They last forever. Make sure you buy 1 inch larger because they run tight. If you usually wear a 32, get a 33, etc…

They fit great.

65% poly, 35% cotton -- strong fabric. No cargo pockets, which is excellent. I find cargo pockets snagging on ... anything / everything. The material is thick and durable. The pockets are well made. Five of them. Four in the usual spots plus a cell phone pocket on the back of the right leg.I found the front pockets to be small. Also, the zipper is not the best quality.Strong belt loops and good tailoring. The fit is comfortable. Suggest a light color if you are working in full sunshine.Overall, an excellent value for sturdy work shorts.

Comfortable and ample room to bend and squat, necessary to complete my jobs at airport and cool enough for those hot Texas (Dallas) 100° summer days.I was required to bend, kneel to search for knives, guns, or explosive devices on aircrafts arriving at DFW airport. Short black pants were allowed during hot days. These pants were life savers as it gets hot on the tarmac, and sometimes even on the aircrafts that were to fly their first flight of the day. Comfortable pants is a necessity and not a luxury which these were very good.

I bought those cargo shorts to work at outdoor events but it's a bit tight and worth it tho.

I got nervous and ordered a size up after reading reviews and then got my shorts and they were true to size, exactly what I ordered which means now I need a new belt cause they are a bit loose and the loops are smaller than normal, so my slightly wide belt doesn't fit. Otherwise great shorts, good length, and sturdy, just is what I was looking for.

I ordered them 2 inches bigger than son's waist measures (same size as his other pants in various brands) these fit snug in the hip but the legs were as expected - same you see in the advertisement pictures. I am not sure if it's because my son has been going to the gym or what butt next time I'll order a size up. If you are buying for a person with anything in the rear get a bigger size. If you want a looser fit to match the leg or if you are buying for somebody who is still growing maybe order a size up.

These are classic must havesOrdered em off the internet cuz stores didnt carry anymoreWas worried they wouldnt fit or wouldnt look like they used to …but… they are perfect -
