Great support, great doors.
We bought these for French doors that this time of year we always leave open except in the heat of the day. The design is great, very obvious, robust components, and simple. Since my wife keeps telling me that males are genetically incapable of reading instructions, I spent several hours following the instructions, which had me so turned around I ended up making pieces of trim in my wood shop. Eventually, I got smart and looked at the obvious design of the doors, tossed the instructions and had it installed in 15 minutes. It's one of those rare items where easy installation was truly planned into the design. A week later, one of the humans around here kicked out the bottom of the screen. I wrote the company for help and they immediately sent me detailed instructions on fixing the screen. Now, the simple construction comes into play again, it will be just as easy to remove and repair as it was to install. OK, update. They sent me instructions for some other model door than I have. However, once again excellent engineering to the rescue. I tossed the instructions, just used common sense, and had the screen repaired and reinstalled in an hour. VERY simple to attach a new screen, or re-attach one someone kicked out.

Very Easy install and operates smooth and easy, well built
The retractable screen was very easy to assemble and install and the instructions were clear (although a bit confusing if you need to cut to a shorter length) once install, the operating mechanisms are smooth and feel to be built with quality. the latch mechanism on the screen is very nice and easy to use. Does not feel "clunky" or cheap at all.One improvement I would recommend is to sew a bead in the top and bottom seam of the screen where it rides in the track and re-engineer the track so that the screen wont come out of the track so easily. Not a big deal but I have notices that the bottom of the screen comes out of the track rather easily but is fixed by simply opening/closing the screen a coupe times to get it to reset back in the track.

Great concept for french doors
Instructions are just OK. Just like any door you need to make sure that this will fit the space your putting it in. In my case the door casing and Jamb needed some modification to get this installed. There Is no height adjustment on this door. There is a width adjustment as stated which worked fine. The screen itself is as durable as you can make screen... I do wonder on the process of ever re-screening the door itself as there are no instructions as to how to get each spring loaded roll apart in case you ever had to... Lets be honest, its a screen door, at some point your dog or kid or yourself with tear it...On the whole I like the design. Easy to operate and looks good giving you the option of having only the one side open.

Installing will take some time to do and the instructional book is straight trash!
The instructions it came with sucked. Straight trash. I went back and watched the video here on Amazon to figure it out. And of course I had to modify and cut about 12 3/8 inches off of my tracks. Not to mention I had to cut the sill as well. Now once I did all the modifications and started putting it together it was coming along. I have out swinging double french doors so yes, I had to flip the handles to the inside. I also had to drill additional holes where the latches are because I couldn't slide them further down with the present screw hole provided. Overall, once I finished installing the screen I was pretty pleased. It's solid and the screens retract really well and look very nice. I would recommend to buy. If you have to modify like I did which was more then once, measure twice and cut once.

Great solution for French Doors
I’ve been looking for a dual purpose screen door and this fits the bill perfectly. The installation took about 30 minutes. It looks great and is easy to use. Unfortunately, mine had be be mounted on the outside, still completely sealed with regards to flies/bugs getting through however the bottom rail will need some reinforcement.Great product I will definitely be purchasing 2 more for standard size single doors.

This one takes some skill to install by yourself.
Once installed it's a nice screen. Will have to wait and see how long it lasts. As for skill; manipulating the pieces into the space can be difficult for one person to handle. But it can be done. I did it.As for ease of installing - - - I had to trim some of my door frame in order to install this. BUT that's because the installers of the original door made things a bit too tight. You MIGHT run into a similar issue but I doubt it in most cases. Just be aware you might have to do some work that is not related to the construction and installation of the screen. I said "MIGHT".

easy to install
Screen is pretty easy to install, you might have to trim the track depending on the door way opening that you have. The main thing I did not like is the center locking mechanism. It almost always does not want to stay in place. You have to be gentle and firm at the same time to get it to lock in place. Once it is locked it works like it should. Just annoying when you are trying to lock it. Need a better locking/coupling system
