Justice League of America 1: World's Most Dangerous

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Two of the issues are tie-ins to Trinity War so you can't completely get this story without also picking up Trinity War but DONT LET THAT STOP YOU FROM BUYING THE BOOK. After all it has the last chapter so you get the full story(and it's a good one) but you can just tell theres something missing.

you like/love Catwoman and the main man (alien) Martian Manhunter... as well as (new to me) other characters... its a nice story line but I should think it gets even better when it links to the Forever Evil and that Trinity War arch.... I really enjoyed the art and cant wait for the second volume.. it should get better... realistically i should give it a four star rating but honestly I do love it

What you have here is the United States answer to the Justice League ever went rogue and started thinking high and mighty and deciding to take the earth for themselves. The United States has assign Amanda Waller to construct a team of Heroes that's purpose is to protect America and it's way of life. As Steve Trevor (One of most skilled special agents America has to offer) will be leading the team of super power team of mighty beings and mortals.Martian Manhunter- An incredibly powerful Martian that powers and intelligence to match Superman.Catwoman- One of the few people in the Dc universe to actual know Batman for who he really is.Katana- A master swordsman who fights a sword that is able to take souls. She is to take on Wonder woman.Vibe- A person who can actually slow down the FlashHawkman- A fierce warrior of the skies must face the king of the seas, Aquaman.Stargirl- By herself she is nothing, But yielding the Cosmic staff she has the ability to manipulate energy and fly. Her duty is to look pretty and to take on Cyborg.Simon Baz (Green Lantern)- The newest green lantern must fight the most experience green lanternThrown in Green arrow and you have an experience team that loves nothing more than fight evil and to protect. Backed by Amanda Waller and Steve Trevor leadership you have a true team that is destine to be good.This book tells the story of how they all became part of the team and how a new secret society threatens the world. The story tells of how everyone must put aside their differences and begin to fight their true enemy and not themselves.It was a really fun read, But unfortunately the book has two story lines in it. The second story line involving the trinity war (Which a brand new book comes out in April 2014) which involves all the Justice league (and Shazam) facing against each other and does not include the whole story. It actually doesn't even start from the beginning of the story. It starts off during a heated battle which isn't great to read if you really don't know what's going on. The reason this books collects these issues involving trinity war is because this will be a series of books to come, and they won't skip a issues just because it's part of another story arc.It's a good book and if you want to learn the origin of how this team is formed and you want to read some Martian Manhunter. Then this is a good buy. It contains about 5 issues of the origin story. Then 2 issues of Trinity story line. It's a cheap price compare to stores and it's worth reading.

Great book! How does the U.S. Government counter the potential threat of the Justice League? Make their own Justice League, duh! It's a little disjointed when it crosses over with what the Justice League is doing but it's not a huge deal, probably best to have Justice League vol 4 (New 52) as well. I also like how the Martian Manhunter is really hardcore in this. He a legitimately terrifying guy.

It is a okay origin story for the team, but it unfortunately gets detracted by the final two issues. Unfortunately at the beginning of the New 52; DC was fiddling how to cover crossovers and would scatter issues to crossovers among the various titles and then one trade to collect them all. So you end up getting 5 issues that introduce and explore this new team, but last two are tied to trinity War that don't make much sense without the issues from Justice League and Justice League dark.

Catwoman in a Justice League? Yup, pretty much my reason for reading it, other than it's connection to Justice Leauge (Batman's). I also like having Martian Manhunter back in the comics. This series is heading in an interesting direction.

I'm diggin' this The New 52! As a fan of the Justice League (in all of it's incarnations), this darker edge is great. The scene where Vibe meets Hawkman for the first time IS priceless....

I liked the idea of a team being assembled to combat the main Justice League should they ever go rogue, but what if they never do? What will the "JL Killer" team do? Fortunately, Geoff Johns acknowledges this and decides to send the newly formed Justice League of America after a Secret Society of Villians who are working beyond the scope of the JL.Brillant set-up, with the original team roster not including Catwoman or Green Arrow, so reading how both of them join is an interesting story, but the member of this team who surprised me by actually being part of this team was J'onn J'onnz (Martian Manhunter) because I thought he was part of The New 52's Stormwatch. Never the less, it really captured the team's dynamic, although inexperienced at working together as they are, with Vibe being the rookie, Hawkman, Green Lantern Simon Baz and Stargirl the powerhouses, Katana and Catwoman as the infiltration specialists, Green Arrow leading, and Martian Manhunter can be anything he wants because he is just that flexible. It was good, right up to the Trinity War chapters, which require reading either the trade paperback Trinity War collection or each monthly release of all involved titles.Good start to an interesting team idea, but requires further reading.

A must read book for Justice league fans. This story continues after Justice league "Throne of atlantis".This is a team powerful enough to face justice league. JLA is formed by steve roger and amanda waller but this is not like suicide squad. The heroes are a powerful combo with Martian man hunter, Hawk man, Vibe, katana and many others. The story line is also good too.REGARDING THE PACKAGE:It was worse. Book came almost bent and edges damaged. U-READ shop this time failed

Pounding heart. Palpitations. Justice League, what is happening? Where is Booster? How many Justice Leagues will there be? Will even one be left standing? My mind is racing after reading this volume and I. Can't. Wait. For. Trinity War. I pre-ordered it ages ago!! There are so many superheroes involved in this book that it is just too many to even remember who is supposed to be part of the new JLA. The first line-up gets changed once and at the end we don't know where they stand. Just like all the other JLs at this point! Shazam is even here. He was on the reserve list from Justice League, Vol. 3 and he's still hanging around and wants to go home but is told he'd better stay around until things get sorted out. The scenes with various JL's going up against each other are truly epic! And now we have a Secret Society of super villains. Catwoman which team is she on? Amanda Waller where does her loyalty lie? The answers will psyche you out!! OK, now just some rambling. Lots of new people here for me. I love Vibe!! What can I say ... I thought he'd be lame but I love him. We get to know a lot about Green Arrow actually, even though this volume is not much about the characters as it's so intense on the action. I haven't liked his appearances so far in the JL books but I'm willing to look into him now and may try out his series. Martian Manhunter is given quite a bit of character development too and I think that's because he's being seen as the "leader" of JLA. I loved the slightly different twist on his background story than pre-52 and I've always liked him as a character. None of the other new superheroes was given enough exposure to get to know them yet so am reserving judgement. Yet I can say I love, love, love the Leaguers and their universe!!

I bought this mainly to test the quality of a digital comic. The zoom function bothered me initially, but once I got used to it, I quite enjoyed the digital version. It is certainly easier to read than the paper version, and the illustrations are very crisp.

Justice League of America（New52!）1-7を収録ジャスティスリーグに対抗するため、アメリカ政府が独自のジャスティスリーグを組織した！世界一強力なチームはそのまま世界一危険なチームで……？ジャスティスリーグ2巻に出ていたあのチームの本格活動……のはずですが、実質活躍するのが最初くらいであとはトリニティウォーの話がそのまんま入っています。トリニティウォーはジャスティスリーグ→ジャスティスリーグダーク→ジャスティスリーグオブアメリカといれかえで行われていくシステム上、これだけだとトリニティウォーの話すら満足にわかりません。ジャスティスリーグオブアメリカの話としても中途半端だし、トリニティウォーとしても中途半端だしでうーん。トリニティウォーで気になったからと言ってあんまり買わなくてもいいかも?
