Bell & Howell Silver Sonic XL Personal Sound Amplifier

So I been reading a lot of these reviews on this item.. let me start off by saying I been wearing hearing aids since I was 2 yr old now I’m 33. Completely deaf in the left ear and over 80% in my right. Back when I was 19 my dog at the time ate my actual hearing aid. So I came across this after going a year with nothing. So for 13 years now I have been wearing nothing but this brand back wen you could buy it at the Walgreens store, then it went to their online part, then it came to Amazon. With this device I can hear pretty much normal again. Due to my line of work I buy a lot cause I break them. Yes the batters that come with it dies super fast. However the battery size 675 works perfectly for just over a week straight. And I have it on from 7am till 11pm every day. It fits perfectly and still with 13 years of wearing/ buying this one. It is still cheaper then going and spending $3k on a real one, most insurances don’t cover hearing aids. So if I break this I’m out of $20 not $3k and 2 weeks in the shop for repair. Just 2 days for shipping. This has to be the most amazing thing I ever came across. It has 2 different settings so choose the one best for you.

Everything is always good but this time the batteries was corroded. That has never happened before but sometimes the batteries die quickly

I just received this and immediately put it together and used it. What a joke.The sound is like sitting in a tin can with the echos just bouncing around. Didn't fit right after trying both sizes of ear buds. I'm really angry with myself for thinking this would help me....

If you are in a quiet environment. like watching TV at home, it works fine. I bought to use in the backseat of a car and it was a disaster. It picked up all the road noise and you still could not hear what the front seat passengers were saying.

The picture of the Bell and Howell sound amplifier unit i orderred,showed an earloop and a larger amplifier body than what was shipped to me. It is supposed to amplify 28dB but TV is barely louder with it in than withity out. the on and off switch is so small i can hardly feel it and the volume control does not operate smoothly. the battery contact on the negative side is cheap and thin and the cell door is hard to close. I wouldn't waste any money on this model.

I bought this as an aid when I had a very bad double ear infection that rendered me profoundly hard of hearing for several weeks. My hearing loss was so profound that I had trouble functioning in meetings at work. This boosted the sound enough that I was able to continue with my duties and indeed saved my reputation at my job. Indeed I gave my original one (bought elsewhere) to a friend who found it equally useful for the same reason.

Sound quality is good. Battery life is short . Hard to find the right replacement battery. They should include extra in package.

Easy to use. The sound is clear and easily adjustable. I haven't had it long enough to see if the battery lasts very long.

この価格では仕方がないと思うが、雑音も大きくなる。デザインは良いと思うが、現在は使ってない。

補聴器を嫌がる父親にプレゼントしました。補聴器ににている形の集音器とこの商品を２つ。迷わずこの商品に手を出してきました。かっこいいと喜んでいます。おもちゃ的なプラスチック感がすごくてすぐに壊れるのではと心配していますが、いまのところ大丈夫のようです。

前に通販で買った物がピーピー音少なく使いやすかったのでこの商品をリピートしました。
