Ingersoll-Rand Compressed Air Dryer Refrigerated Type D25IN 15 Scfm 23231814

The unit came packaged very nicely, allot of protection, plumbed up the unit fallowing the installation instructions, everything looks good

I ordered this Air Dryer because I generally have had very good luck with Ingersoll Rand products until now. When I got the first one yes you read that right the first one. All those a box was perfectly fine when I opened it I noticed that there was some screws missing that hold that air Inlet/ Outlet in place on the back of the machine. After further inspection I discovered that the compressor had actually come out of its mounts inside the dryer. I immediately boxed it up and shipped it back. Giving Ingersoll Rand the benefit of the doubt I immediately ordered another one. Bad choice. When I got that one though there was no visible damage as soon as I plugged it in and it went through its test I've got an error message. Call the Ingersoll Rand dealer scheduled a service appointment. The day before the appointment the service tech called me and explained they had no replacement units they were on back order nor could they get any parts to repair this one. Guess what I'm boxing up another one and send it back two strikes they're out.

The picture here on Amazon is not representative of the unit. The actual unit is much smaller! I've included a picture of it next to the California Air Tools 4610 which is a 10-gallon air compressor. It's very tiny, but it does a great job and can even handle a larger air compressor like the Ingersoll-Rand SS4L5 which I also have.This air dryer is very quiet, and only take a few minutes to warm up (cool down, actually) when you turn it on. The manual says it takes 15 minutes but attached to this tiny air compressor it only takes 5. It will be attached to my 60-gal compressor soon and I'll update my review when I have information on that. But for now it's awesome!

Bought the Item From here and contacted amazon back as when it came in it had been packed into a different box. Installed the item in August 1 Month later we unplugged all in our shop for Hurricane coming in plugged it back up and it keeps flipping the breaker email the company Back Air Compressor Direct they stated (It looks like it was purchased through amazon. I would recommend contacting Ingersoll Rand since they handle all warranties in house). So they don't mind selling but don't like to help if something is wrong

I returned due to being damaged, I'm sure the unit is perfect.

Just unboxed today and installed with pre filter as required for warranty. After boot up and sending air, the screen quickly goes to a solid ESA error code. Manual says code is either a refrigerating gas leak or faulty temperature control probe. Had to contact IR via their website as there doesnt seem to be a way to contact them on Amazon. Update: IR is working to get replacement.. will update to 5 star once resolved.
