Huge bag
It’s a huge bag delivered to my door. Thank you, delivery man. I will not need any more for a long time.

Hard to manipulate
50 lbs. is very heavy. You will need a bucket to put this in. I used a large HD bucket and placed the bag inside it before opening. It's a mixture of fine and coarse salt, so don't use when there's a breeze. It does a good job once it's spread. Make sure to place plastic over the bucket before putting the lid on to keep the salt dry.

It works so fast and doesn’t damage the concrete! Great value! Definitely buying more for the brutal snow storms we get in Chicago!

Just in time
A few weeks back we had an unexpected snow storm. Several inches piled in front of the house. After a serious shoveling session I needed to ensure the walkway remained clean. I used the rock salt. It eliminated the areas of ice and melted any falling snow. I didn’t have to go back out to shovel again. The large bag left me with salt for the next snow dump.

Luckily, USPS delivered to my porch. Then we had warm weather for 2 weeks! Now back to ice and snow. Typical Mohawk Valley March weather gymnastics. This product is easy to spread. A great deicer to have on hand.

Great product does what its suppoed to do, melt ice
Use with caution this will destroy your concrete walkways..driveways and if splashed on the underside of your car will rot out the brake lines and undercarriage, may even poison your pets, cripples dogs as it attacks their feet
