Great dispensers! We use them for sugar and powdered creamer. Very thick glass that is easu to fill and keep clean. They go well with any decor.

Love this product especially with kids don’t have to worry about them putting a spoon in a sugar bowl. Love this shaker . Less wastage!

Perfect size. One pour does it for my morning coffee.

This is a nice element to add to a coffee bar. I love the retro design from a distance. However, up close the metal lid came with scratches on the top surface and the threaded sides are not polished at all. Also, the tube has a continuous seam which looks unrefined. The tube is not easy to align in a straight position. The flow rate on mine may not be as uneven as some other reviews mention. However, to improve it I may use a pipe cutter to shorten the length of the tube at the bottom to help it pour more evenly. Also, I wish it came with a plastic cap to seal the top hole to keep insects out. With a few little refinements, this could be a great product.

This is NOT a retro style. The old retro dispensers had an open hole that allowed the user to dispense as much as they wanted. The description doesn't tell you that this delivers a pre-measured amount of sugar - slightly more than 1.5 tsp. Since it's not exact, you can't use it for baking either. If you want less, that's easy enough to do, but if you want more, you're left dispensing again and it's hard to judge. Alot of users know just how much to pour using the old style dispenser and the fact that this does it for you isn't the greatest. If I'd known this, I would have purchased another style. The jar itself is glass, so it cleans well in either the dishwasher or by hand, but it would have been nice to know that the amount is pre-measured as that was a deal breaker for my husband.

When sugar is about a quarter full it doesn't pour out well

It pours out a teaspoon every time you tip it. It is made out of glass, and not one time has it ever got clogged up

If you like these sugar servers from your experience in Europe then this is not the product for you. Properly designed, these servers will reliably dispense about a 1 teaspoon dose of sugar. This thing dispenses over a tablespoon. I even tried putting a piece of tubing on the downcomer to cover the ridiculously large scoop, and I still couldn't get the dose under 2 teaspoons. This seems to be an American interpretation of a European product. It's pretty, and it's reasonably well made, but because of its egregious dosing I can't recommend it.
