This is a great bed, worth every penny paid! I was surprised at what appears quality in construction. I have only had it for a day and a half, but, from the appearance, I expect it to hold up, even after washing. I was so pleased that it was ample in size, yet cozy. I got a clear impression the snuggly, warm shearling offered my 16 yr old Shi Tzu, Mandy, a sense of being swaddled, as if she felt caressed in the soothing comfort of "mom's" arms. I had purchased another bed at the same time, and was so disappointed at how tiny the other bed was. From the descriptions in the listings, I expected the smaller bed to be only 1" smaller than the Precision Shearling bed, as specified. However, there was a good 30-35% disparity, maybe more. The walls of the Precision bed are deep, firm enough to stay upright, but not so much as to make it difficult for my senior dogs to climb in. A small paw resting on the edge is enough to hold walls down easily, enabling a diminutive, even arthritic dog to step in or out, without difficulty. Mandy clearly appears to love her new bed. She seems to really like the way it envelops and encircles her, yet offers enough room to allow her to do that dog thing of circling the "right' spot before snuggling down, or lying on her back and wriggling to scratch her back, then stretching out, with her legs all splayed. And, the deep walls are just high enough to rest her head on the edge if she chooses. The bed is also well padded, to offer both comfort and support. I'm hoping it is offered on sale again, so I can buy a second one for my Bijon-Malti-poo, Mickey, who suffers from chronic leg cramps. He just doesn't show any interest in the other bed I bought for him. It's cute, it just doesn't hold a candle to, or comfort of the Precision Shearling bed his sister got. But, she has a good 8-9 yrs on him, so seniority rules, and he has to wait. If I had known the Precision bed was so much better and larger, I would have bought him one, instead of the velour-covered bed he got. The Precision shearling is the perfect size for any toy, or terrier, or similarly-sized breed, and is probably ample enough to fit a medium-small/smaller medium-sized breed, though I think Precision makes other sizes for larger dogs I can assure you that your dog would love this bed and appreciate it. Heck, your dog might rarely want to leave his/her bed. I think it's at least comparable to beds that are 2xs or more the price, maybe even better. Mickey, normally, is one of those dogs who shadows you so closely, he often gets stepped on. Picture a dog linked to his human with a bungee cord, and that's my Mickey. But, he is currently in his crate UPSTAIRS (voluntarily), pouting 'cause his sister, Mandy, hasn't budged from her bed long enough for him to even try it out. It's pretty obvious she loves her new bed. Normally, Mandy is very good about sharing. It's never bothered her when Mickey has climbed in her bed. But, she hasn't left the bed for more than a minute or two, and isn't likely to for at least quite awhile. (That's Mickey in the picture, looking for a way to share Mandy's new bed) Mickey will have to wait until mom can fit another new bed into the budget. We're keeping our fingers crossed that it will go on lightning deal again, or we get a discount offer for reviews. I’ve bought many beds for my cats, from $10 to $100. I really should have given up long ago, but for some reason I just NEEDED them to have beds they liked. They have full reign of the house and all of the human beds as well, so it’s not like they really needed their own beds, but I wanted to find the perfect little nests for them. Despite all the beds I bought, they never liked them. They might give the beds a sniff or a ten-minute nap, but the beds failed the test every time. What were the rules of the test? I have no idea! So I was bracing myself for another failure when I bought this bed, despite the good reviews (I bought the 21-inch version). As soon as I unboxed it, I knew something was different. The cats ran straight for it, and one immediately climbed in for a nap. These girls do not cuddle or share a bed, so the cat left outside the bed was visibly quite forlorn. I waited to see if this nap would really last, or if kitty would be out in ten minutes like usual. She slept for HOURS. I was actually beginning to worry about her. This carried on into the next few days, with the cats taking turns using the bed. They were nearly comatose—I’ve never seen them sleep so soundly for so long. Within a few days, I knew I had to buy a second bed so they wouldn’t have to share. They have continued to sleep almost exclusively in these beds (the only exception being when it’s hot outside, since they prefer to stretch out on a cold surface). I really recommend this bed for any cat, even the pickiest.

My cat's favorite bed at an excellent price point. Fully machine washable and dryable. Excellent construction. I have bought 3 and will buy again when needed.

I now have 3 of these, one for each of my fur babies. It's soft and very easy to clean, I just throw it in the washer and in the dryer. Also easy to transport.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this bed before I adopted my kitten, Ocho. I wanted to have everything ready for him to come home and be comfortable. I went back and forth between a couple of other beds on amazon, and some in walmart/petsmart and I am SO glad I finally decided on this bed. He LOVES it!We picked out our kitten at the shelter and once we told them we wanted to adopt him, they dropped the bomb on us that he had an entire history of health issues, despite only being 4 months old. One of those issues is coronavirus, which gives him messy bathroom trips. Messy bathroom trips + tiny kitten = messy paws. He often tracked his mess with him back to this bed, but it was easy to clean with a Clorox wipe, and left no stains. Also, he is severely underweight, and has trouble regulating his own body temperature. This bed is perfect because it helps keep him warm. I bought a bed buddy (microwaveable head bag) and tucked it into the crack around the bed, and then covered it with a blanket. This kept him warm throughout the night and kept me anxiety free.*PROS*-ADORABLE. The theme of my apartment is mint green and grey and this matches PERFECTLY.-SOFT. It is no wonder that my kitten loves this bed so much. It is so soft and he loves making biscuits in it.-WARM.-EASY TO KEEP CLEAN. A warm soapy rag or a clorox wipe to spot treat will keep this looking brand new.-EASILY TRANSPORTABLE. I've traveled with Ocho and his bed several times. Since this bed is so squishy, I don't have to worry about it taking up too much space.-SPACY. There is plenty of room in this bed, for Ocho at least, to have his blanket, heated rice bag, and his stuffed animal.*CONS*- I have not found any cons. The only possible con could be the price but I think it is WELL WORTH the price I paid for it! (I paid $20.99, now it's at 16.99, so it's even better!)I would highly recommend this bed to any pet owner! 10/10 I've attached pictures of Ocho in his bed when we first got him and some more recent ones!

Very nice, bigger than expected. I have a 5lbs Morkie and two of her could easily fit in it! It'll be perfect for when her sister arrives next month!

I love the way it looks and feels. Dog seems to love it too. Only complaint is bottom could be thicker.

Nice fabric and the sides have good sturdy padding for my dog to curl up against. Very happy with this especially for the price.
