Creative Kids Complete Photo Guide to Crochet

This is a wonderful book if you're teaching middle schoolers to crochet. The instructions are written for the middle school mind and the projects are geared for the pre-teen taste. There are plenty of photos and illustrations to explain the copy. In addition, the author understands how children think and arranges the projects by interest and capability. The book is a wonderful guide for those who want to teach their children to crochet as it allows the learner to start with projects that can be done in less than an hour giving the beginner instant - almost - satisfaction and moves on to more complex - yet not hard - projects as the learner become more proficient and capable of devoting more time and patience to a project.

I bought this book to learn how to Crochet. I'm a 59 year old first time Grandma and thought it would be good to learn. The directions we're very simplified(which I need). It takes you from step one (not knowing anything) to more advanced projects. Great learning book for any age!

I love the step by step approach of this book. Each new skill to learn comes witb a project to practice. My 10 year old is learning to crochet mostly on his own and loving it. A very well-written book. I also loved that it shows pictures of both boys and girls and the projects can appeal to all kids, not just girls.

I am teaching my 8 year old daughter how to crochet and this book is perfect for when she just wants to try it on her own without mom. They pictures are a great help.

I've been teaching my 10 year old granddaughter to crochet. This book provides the stop motion pictures with explanations to match that can get lost when showing the work being done, even in slow motion.

Not adult friendly instructions... My daughter had given up on learning to crochet because of her frustrations with the book. I myself struggle with them until I watch a YouTube episode and then it kind of makes sense.

It’s a bit hard to understand the book. My 10 year old and I ended up just going to YouTube and watching videos instead.

This is a great product for kids! Our daughter is 9 and has really gotten into crochet! We used this book to have a little crochet party with her firends at the house, and they had a great time!
