These beans are the best if you want to make New Orleans style red beans and rice. They have the best flavor. They taste fresh and their flavor cannot be duplicated. It is the most common choice for those who live in New Orleans. I make a vegan version of the red beans and rice and folks love it! I do wish that they were organic, though. That is the only reason I did not give them 5 stars.
