If I had enough time I would have returned this desk. The legs were coated in some kind of yellow gunk. The inside divider was holed in reverse and we had to drill new holes. The door hydraulic is too strong making it very hard to open the door to the desk.Do not recommend whatsoever.The look is nice so it’s really insinuate unfortunate.

Since there are no reviews for this item, I hope this helps those who might order it. I had to return the first desk because the legs (which I did not realize were made of metal) were visibly rusted and the enamel on them had started chipping off into the plastic bags covering them. The second desk had a very similar problem, but less visible rust this time and no chipped enamel. The rusty part was facing the back of the desk so I decided to let it slide, as I was already frustrated from returning the first desk. Clearly though, quality control is problematic to non-existent. The assembly is not complicated but it *is* irritating, especially when it comes to partially drilled or undrilled holes. When I had to exert force to get the screws into partially drilled holes -- and know that I am a petite person, hardly a bodybuilder -- the coating on the particleboard started chipping away. I still have not yet been able to secure the arm to open the front with screws that look relatively straight. Assembly also took longer because one board did not indicate which direction to place it and, as luck would have it, I placed the unfinished side toward the front and had to re-do it. On materials, as mentioned the metal legs appear to come pre-rusted. Beyond that, okay, yes, it's cheap furniture. I'm not expecting an heirloom. The exterior has a nice glossy coating, which seems durable. But the interior laminate is so cheap! It's almost abrasive in places, like on the desk surface, where you would actually be doing work and which feels like sandpaper. There are even odd gray lines going across the laminate on there. Overall, I'm very disappointed in this desk. I can't say that I'd recommend it to anyone beyond for the looks which, yes, are very chic. But I have so many regrets for the money and time spent on something so completely subpar.

The media could not be loaded. I decided to get this desk even though the reviews weren’t good hoping that I would luck out and not get a dud. Just like the other reviews stated, the desk came covered in rust, which was really annoying but I managed to get off with a magic eraser. Then, putting the desk together was difficult due to confusing directions and cheaply made parts. It took my husband forever to just get the legs level and still the desk is not very stable. Lastly the strut that opens the hatch door seems to be broken. It’s really noisy and hard to open (see attached video). Overall I’m super disappointed with this desk and mad at myself for ignoring the reviews. Don’t make the same mistake I did!

After working from home from my bedroom for the last three years, I desperately needed a desk for ergonomic reasons. With the limited space I have in my bedroom, I needed something small. I also wanted something I could close so that I wouldn’t have to see my computer/work stuff when off the clock. This fit the bill, and has worked phenomenally! Love that it looks clean and sleek so it fits in well with my bedroom decor. It was also pretty easy to assemble.
