Gardner Bender 10-310C Electrical Crimp Connector, 18-10 AWG, Copper 100 Pack

These work perfectly for crimping the elastic used to tighten my American Girl dolls arms and legs. I use a crimping tool to secure these connectors tightly. Would recommend these for repairing dolls arms and legs.

I'm pretty much old school when it comes to electrical connections, but decided to try these for an application where it looked like soldering would be difficult. The wires were different sizes -- 16 gauge on one side and 10 gauge on the other. I stripped the wires, set the crimp sleeves on the 10 gauge side, and twisted the wires together. I was surprised how easy it was to push the crimp sleeves down over the twisted wires and -- using a ratcheting crimping tool -- compress the sleeves. The finished joints are very strong; I can't pull one apart and I tried pretty hard. So I'm sold on these.

I'd been using the copper connectors but due to the drastic increase in price decided to try the steel crimps and they worked just fine. I'm using them in a non-electrical context to create permanent durable loops in paracord and they are perfect for this. Many thanks to the people here who answered my question about the hardness compared to the copper.

Great for crimping multiple bare ground wires together in a junction box. Works great with standard electrician pliers or the special crimp tool.

It was exactly what I was looking for when I changed some wiring during my bathroom remodel.

These were way too large for 8awg wire. I may have misunderstood the "14-8" to mean 14awg up to 8awg when perhaps it doesn't and I'm a fool. That said, to be totally fair they do seem to be great quality ferrules and perhaps they'll come in handy at some point, but I was definitely let down when it came time to begin a big install of accessories in my vehicle. 2 stars for the superb quality, but the size rating is definitely incorrect.
